I fucking love this film. Never gets old.

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 24/04/2015 21:30

Love The Breakfast Club.

I didn't 'get' St Elmo's Fire'. Feel like I missed something.

Rhubarbgarden · 24/04/2015 21:32

I had a huge crush on the Judd Nelson character. Happy memories!

spookyskeleton · 24/04/2015 21:32

How good is Judd Nelson in it?? And Ally Speedy??

One of my favourites.

Richard Vernon:
Any questions?
John Bender:
Yeah, I got a question. Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?

DuchessFanny · 24/04/2015 21:35

Excellent film ! My DB and I still quote from it Grin

squoosh · 24/04/2015 21:35

I love Brian. Feel so sad for him.

kippersmum · 24/04/2015 21:36

Oh wow!! enjoy! I love this film. The scene at the end is great, I wont say anymore...

KingJoffreyFanciesDarylDixon · 24/04/2015 21:36

I'd totally shag Bender.

Breakfast Club Bender, not Futurama Bender.

kippersmum · 24/04/2015 21:36

which channel is it on???

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2015 21:36

I have a boxed set

About Last Night (my favourite film ever in the whole wide world)
St Elmo's Fire
The Breakfast Club

Perfect 80s afternoon....

GonePenguin · 24/04/2015 21:37

Molly Ringwald's complexion...

Goldmandra · 24/04/2015 21:39

I'm older than you! have never seen it and will soon give in to DD1's pleas for me to watch it with her.

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2015 21:40

Molly Ringwald went and did Pretty in Pink which in my expert on all soppy 80s movies was not great. that dress was bogging for a start and Duckie was way hotter than drippy Blane.

spookyskeleton · 24/04/2015 21:41

I am babysitting at a friends and they have it downloaded so I am sat here with wine and chocolate...perfect Smile

Never thought Judd Nelson was attractive but I do now GrinGrin

Never seen About Last Night either. I must have led a very sheltered life!

Totally different style off film but I watched High Society yesterday and it was so good!

Love me a musical.

crumpet · 24/04/2015 21:41

Wouldn't bother with St Elmos Fire - it's pretty rubbish, although I remember wanting to look like Demi Moore in it

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2015 21:41

*expert opinion

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 24/04/2015 21:41

I love 'St Elmo's Fire', totally DIDN'T get 'The Breakfast Club'... I seem to be on my own there, have tried three times now to get into it and it just leaves me completely unmoved and wanting my bed. Blush

Sparklingbrook · 24/04/2015 21:43

Rob Lowe in About Last night. It does not get more perfect than that.

I think St Elmo's is great. I dragged DH to the bar where it was filmed when we were on holiday. Blush

squoosh · 24/04/2015 21:45

I like St Elmo's for it's 80's-tastic-ness. And it's big cheesy soundtrack complete with requisite 80's sax.

threestars · 24/04/2015 21:46

Best birthday I had was when I was a teenager and my best friend gave me a surprise dinner party at her house (spag bol) with my fave friends followed by a showing of The Breakfast Club in her sitting room. Friends for life Smile

kippersmum · 24/04/2015 21:46

I wasted a large amount of my teenage years dreaming about Judd Nelson in the Breakfast Club....

threestars · 24/04/2015 21:47

Could be topped by The Outsiders though.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/04/2015 21:48

Absolutely bloody love it - my very favourite film EVER.

I so fancy Bender, even now.

Does Barry Mannilow know you raid his wardrobe?
