I cannot cope with them anymore. I've had it. I am sick of the whinging and the answering back and the defiance and the swearing, and the fighting and waking at 5am and they just never bloody stop.
I am sick of being in pain almost 24/7, I am sick of not sleeping properly and being woken by my next door neighbours fucking kids running about till midnight scremanig and yelling like its playtime, or bad pain in my legs and feet na dhands and arms and neck,or the dog whining to get out.
I am sick of this place, it's horrible and I hate it. I hate the house, the area, the RAF, my neighbours, the people who I see at school everyday..

I don't even know why I am writing this, becasue it's me, and no one will give a toss.

I give a toss. Chronic pain is a hell of alot to deal with, throw in fighting siblings and it sounds like a complete nightmare. Have a manly hug from me. Is there anyone that can help you nearby?

Portofino · 15/03/2009 20:47

Yes - we do give a toss. Sounds like you are having the day from hell! Throwing things helps sometimes i find.

Why are you in pain? Is there anyone near by who can help with the dcs and give you a break, even for an hour or so?

Habbibu · 15/03/2009 20:48

Oh, Saltire. I don't know what to say, but just wanted to post and say people do give a toss. Wish I could be more useful and less trite, I guess. Am so sorry you feel like this. Is there any help you can get?

Saltire · 15/03/2009 20:48

No there's no one. My DH is about 4000 miles away and my mum is a 7 hour drive

FiveGoMadInDorset · 15/03/2009 20:48

Oh Saltire we do care, why are you in pain?

PottyCock · 15/03/2009 20:49

Yes, you need a break - sounds like a lot to cope with. Can anyone give you a day off?

Are you getting any help from your GP?

PottyCock · 15/03/2009 20:49

Where roughly are you?

Habbibu · 15/03/2009 20:50

Could your mum come to stay? Could you get her to fly down, maybe?

DumbledoresGirl · 15/03/2009 20:50

Oh Saltire! And there was you being so kind and offering to cheer me up earlier. Sounds like you need some of whatever you were offering me. Dh is away at the moment isnt he? It must be so hard for you to be on duty 24/7.

They are going to school tomorrow though! Can you treat yourself to something while they are out of the house or are you working?

wrinklytum · 15/03/2009 20:50

aww.

Saltire · 15/03/2009 20:51

I just feel so down, have done for ages. I haven't had a really bad flare up like this for a while. Of course because it's happened when DH is awya, it does make me wonder if stress is also a trigger to the flare ups.
Of course its not helped by me and the Dses jsut not liking it here, I can truly say after 15 years this has got to be the worst posting I've ever had.
I have ahd my maximum amount of painkillers and its not even bed time yet.

You're not alone! And people do give a toss (at least I hope they do or I'm a dead loss myself!).

I'm sorry you feel so awful and angry and know from experience there is nothing that anyone can suggest that will help but hopefully knowing you're being thought about by us will give you a glimmer of happiness!

Why do you have pain? (apart from because you have young children of course!)

BoysAreLikeDogs · 15/03/2009 20:51

Are you having another flare up mate?

We can help you to think of a plan to deal with neighbours, how to explain to your kids that they need to calm down, to encourage you to get you to the doc for new painkillers.

foxinsocks · 15/03/2009 20:51

lots of people give a toss you know

you were great when I thought I might have fibromyalgia

am sorry things are hard for you at the moment

MrsMattie · 15/03/2009 20:52

You really, really sound like you need a break. I was going to say what Habbibu said. Is there any way your mum could come and give you some emergency respite?

foxinsocks · 15/03/2009 20:52

have you seen a special pain management doctor?

Kbear · 15/03/2009 20:52

We do give a toss, and you know you have come to right place to vent and rant and you will calm down, lick the ice cream off the wall (hate waste) and breathe.

So where are you these days? Assume DH is somewhere hot and sandy? Can you phone a mate to come over to talk - talking's always good.

Boco · 15/03/2009 20:52

Sorry Saltire, it sounds really really hard, all of it. I hope that things are a bit easier tomorrow, wish I could think of something useful to say. But I am sure that lots of people give a toss.

Lindenlass · 15/03/2009 20:52

Where are you saltire? Sounds truly horrid for you

differentID · 15/03/2009 20:53

SAltire, do you have a bathtub?
would you be able to have a warm bath, would it help relieve the pain?

BoysAreLikeDogs · 15/03/2009 20:53

CarGirl · 15/03/2009 20:53

Where are you posted at the moment, sounds realy grim!

JumpingDizzy · 15/03/2009 20:53

Are there any mumsnetters nearby? Where are you?

We all go mad at the kids sometimes, I've said awful things Told ds2 I was going back on tablets the other day in a rant (got pmt) but I apologised later. I'm not going back on ADs I just flipped.

I really feel for you being alone.

Saltire · 15/03/2009 20:54

I've had a glass. I don't usually with these painkillers, but I needed one. The ice cream is still dripping down the wal.
At this moment in time if someone came ina dn said "we are taking the Dses away" I'd let them i really would. They are 11 and 9 FGS, they weren't this bad when they were toddlers. I wanted to walk out thehouse and leave them

I know where Saltire is - near my hometown but home is where the heart is and I know Saltire would like to be back in Scotland, am I right? Easter is coming soon. Have you anything planned for then? any chance of going to stay with your mum?
