think it's more a question of finding the right drugs - I have allergic tendencies, but piriton sorts them out.

Piriton is usually fast acting - it should be a lot better tomorrow

I had a reaction (think it was to shampoo) when I was pg - came out in very itchy rash esp round waistband of skirt. Had to sit through an important meeting desperately trying to concentrate and not scratch. Had to go home after and have a bath. rang Drs and they let me take one Piriton - it did the trick

plain bath usually very soothing - warm rather than hot.

bicarb, like for chicken pox? Have you got any in?

iota · 20/04/2005 21:46

I'm so rashy - I've had it about 3/4 times , think it was once to tuna - although I can eat it now, once to amoxyl, once to shampoo, also react to horses (not eating them of course)

when I had the reaction to the amoxyl it was over the weekend and my mum wouldn't call the dr - didn't like to bother him - at the time I was bed-ridden with the worst ever chest infection (took 5 weeks to clear) and I felt really really really bad.
