...in the years when we have our periods, usually sometimes between ovulation and the beginning of the period?

or is it just me?

I cry at adverts, films etc definitely feel it more at certain times of the month.

I have the kykeena coil and so my periods are random. I have a week every so often when I am horrifically anxious and feel like everything is pointless. Then the next week my period starts, and it's 'ah, makes sense now' but as my periods are unpredictable I can't predict 😭

That sounds even more difficult...do you get any other symptoms? I usually feel when I'm ovulating and that gives me a useful warning/ reminder of things to come...

I get this completely, the instant I get my period is like a big blanket has been lifted off me...

I get this too! I’m a bit of a crier anyway (sad films, sad animals, sad stories, worries about the future), but for a couple of days a month it’s like a black cloud of sadness descends. Then it lifts again!

No other symptoms that I know of.

It's always a surprise and then AHHHHHH FFS 😂

As it's between 4 and 6 times a year, it's not that bad and I can deal with it.

I have memory problems, so remembering isn't the easiest at the best of times!

I cry but I don't think it has anything to do with my cycle, and everything to do with shit that's going down in my life.

I get fucking angry a couple of days before my period starts though.

I rarely cry and when I do, it's not linked to my hormonal cycle.

I have ADHD and have had hormonal issues all my life. I cry for all sorts of reasons. I'm hoping it'll stop when I get through menopause. It's exhausting.
