My children know I am self-harming

My oldest has known for a while I think but my younger one (7) knows as well now.
It stops me doing something worse if I’m honest. I’ve no choice but to be here for my kids but there’s precious little in it for me most of the time.
I don’t smoke or drink or anything and I’m a reasonable parent, I hope.
My youngest has just come in the kitchen and tried to get me to go into the living room and I know it’s because she’s worried I’m going to harm myself.
I keep the injuries covered and I’ve only needed medical attention once when it got infected. They aren’t life threatening or anything like that.

but I’m worried about the damage to my dc and also if it would flag any safeguarding concerns if they go to school and disclose I am harming.

My kids grew up knowing I was bulimic, had it for over 30 years ,there was no support as I was obese, ,probably no support if I was thin either thou..so GP knew ,kids could hear me ,bedroom next to the bathroom.only managed to stop when I was vomiting blood .
i wish I’d had the strength to stop years ago, but it’s not that easy without support, and it just becomes normal,I was constantly blocking the drains ,and my dh had to buy rods to un block it ,was a normal occurrence in our house .

Do you not think she would stop if she could ?
with out support it’s impossible,
are you going to offer that support ,pay for a counsellor to help her stop fucking up her kids ,as you put it ..
mental health support in our country is practically none existent, unless ofcourse your are rich
