Son attempted #trigger

So I'm sat in hospital.
Been here since 3am. Police drove me here.
Son jumped 30ft from a bridge.
He's currently in surgery
Perforated bladder
Broken hip
Broken pelvis
Broken leg
Broken wrist
3 fractures to his jaw

I can't understand it.

My wonderful friends daughter, so very young, recently dx Aspergers, jumped off a bridge last month. Your post triggered so much. I hope, in the nicest possible way, that he was "pushed" and that he did not want to end his own life. My friends have been so devastated. They will never be the same again. Lots and lots of love to you both.

I'm so sorry OP. I'm not sure it matters if he was pushed or jumped - in some ways - both are utterly horrendous. But if he was pushed I hope the CCTV leads to the bastard(s) being caught - swiftly.

Thanks everyone.
I don't know what to believe and until he's pieced back together I really don't care what happened I just want him fixed.
It's heartbreaking watching him try to understand why he's in hospital and trying to remember what happened.
Regardless of the drugs he's convinced someone tried to kill him.
Right now I am sat waiting while they fix metal into his hips and arms trying to remember that it's just broken bones and he's alive.
On 6 hours sleep in 48 hours that's tough.

On Bonkerz, he's going to have a long journey to recovery ahead of him Sad, it must be a devastating situation to be in, for all your family.
I sincerely hope the police get to the bottom of their enquiries and you get some answers.

Took a step back today and is in ICU for the night now.
Police rang. Still suspected foul play but can't do any more till new year due to cctv etc.
I'm trying to focus on son and his healing.

Hope he turns a corner, it must be worrying having him in ICU.
Can you stay with him, or is Covid and being in ICU restricting when you can see him?

He remains in ICT today due to collapsed lung and infection. I'm able to be with him due to his extra needs thankfully

After being in ICU due to a collapsed lung we are now on a ward.
Medication has finally been found that suits him better so his pain is more controlled x thanks all x

As the mother of a gay young man I am horrified by this
