Thanks @MrsWhites I’ve taken the day off today so going to pop Netflix on to keep me distracted :)

MrsWhites · 06/05/2021 13:46

@Goolies good idea! I need to find a new series to watch too, just finished line of duty!

Got my vaccine coming up next week, not worried about the vaccine itself but more about the side effects causing me anxiety...I’ve heard of it affecting periods and causing underarm/breast swelling. I just know that anything like that will send me spiralling. Get ready to talk me down next week ladies 🤣

argueifnecessary · 07/05/2021 11:12

@MrsWhites
If you're into teenage stuff then I binged Ginny and Georgia until 5am. Thoroughly recommend. It's on Netflix.

Goolies · 07/05/2021 11:31

@MrsWhites are you on the WhatsApp chat? That has just been reccomended on that too! Xx

Goolies · 07/05/2021 11:35

Woke up with left sided pain today I have done before but hurt sro breath in deeply I was told by doctor be wind from large intestines but I’m thinking I’m dying or something I’ve had this on and off for a year idk what it is but I do struggle with bowels. Soon as I trump it goes away

Dollsandfoo · 09/05/2021 11:10

@HildegardeCrowe how are you doing. Hope your feeling ok x

argueifnecessary · 09/05/2021 17:33

@Loobylou1987
I've always known that if discomfort goes away after burping or farting then it's nothing serious.

HildegardeCrowe · 10/05/2021 09:07

Hi @Dollsandfoo, I’m going back to work next week and not doing too badly thanks. Just anticipating the next meltdown which isn’t good, wish I could learn some coping skills. How are you doing? And hello to everyone else.

polkadotpixie · 10/05/2021 09:08

Hope everyone is okay?

My anxiety is so severe at the moment. I don't know how to stop the fear and it's ruining my life Sad

I had an ultrasound of my kidneys as I was worried about kidney cancer and it was clear so now I'm back to bladder cancer and breast cancer

I'm taking my sertraline religiously and it's not helping. I just want the constant noise in my head to stop so I can get on with my life

Dollsandfoo · 10/05/2021 10:43

@HildegardeCrowe that's great that yoir going back to work. Hopefully it will be a good distraction. Am doing OK thanks. @polkadotpixie how long have you been on sertraline. Am just coming up to week 4 and I think its finally starting to help x

@Dollsandfoo I've been on it just over 2 months and I've just moved up to 100mg. I found it helpful for a while but it's not working at the minute 😩

Galwaygirl · 10/05/2021 19:25

Hello all!
Does anyone feel that when you have one issue sorted another automatically pops up? Had diahorrhea for weeks, sent samples for analysis, all clear, then right sided pain, ? Ovaries, all clear and moved onto stomach issues, it's exhausting!

argueifnecessary · 10/05/2021 22:56

@Galwaygirl
Yes, this is how we roll...

Nannyamc · 11/05/2021 00:03

Galway girl
I was like this for years wore me completely down. Went to a therapist who gave me so much but recommended gp advice. Put on lexapro to relieve anxiety and depression have never looked back.
Resultant at first but has truly saved me.

Goolies · 11/05/2021 10:11

@Galwaygirl yep! It’s like all the issues are standing in a queue and as soon as one is sorted the next one is waiting!

I can relate to this so much. I have crippling health anxiety, it's one thing after another.
I've recently had a heart scan which has come back okay but they couldn't see one part so now I'm thinking I have a tumour blocking that part and I've been in bits all day. I can't even describe to anyone else, this panic comes over me. I'm really struggling today.

Has medication helped anyone, I really think I need to call Gp to discuss medication, I can't carry on like this. I had to leave work early today because I couldn't concentrate and was crying constantly. I'm convinced I have something wrong with me

Ethellsmum · 12/05/2021 12:05

Hi all. I’m back Sad
Anxiety has been under control for past few months and then wham! Here I am again.
I’m
Obsessing over my skin. Is that a Mark? A rash? A bruise? Is it normal? Best check again, and again and take a photo 🤦‍♀️
It all started with a lump in my armpit (that has now gone after a course of antibiotics).
Why does HA keep creeping back up on me! I’m u sure if I should increase my meds? I hate that I have to ring and speak to a dr, I find face to face so much easier.

Ethellsmum · 12/05/2021 12:06

@MovingHouseTomorrow30th yes, medication has helped me.
