Hi ladies, back again for thread number 3!

Morning! How are you all?

I have woken up with a horrible inner dread feeling but can’t quite figure out why! Unusual for me as I usually get like this oh ah evening not morning! I did have mixed up dreams so could be that but I can’t remember them Hmm

Skyliner001 · 23/02/2021 08:27

Morning ladies, I completely sympathise with the inner dread feeling. I've also woken up with that this morning! And a massive urge to poke at lumpy bits on my breast which I know are there. It's a huge age, and I'm really struggling to resist it, going to be so proud if I manage to

MrsWhites · 23/02/2021 09:00

@chorusline79 I’m definitely going to make a big effort not to poke up there anymore...I mean who does that 😂

@KasparKat they are nabothian cysts, that’s what the nurse said mine was too! Thanks for the reassurance.

@dillydallydollydaydream7 I had a smear about 18 months ago, the nurse mentioned it then and said it was just a spot so I don’t know why I can’t just accept that!

@Skyliner001 my boobs definitely aren’t smooth either. I’ve got quite a few stretch marks and I get large pores on them too sometimes, which freaked me out for a while but then I realised I have them on both. They are both different too, one is bigger and the nipples are in different positions too! I make them sound really attractive don’t I 😂

Yes that's right, nabothian cyst!

Thanks to whoever it was that recommended a humidifier for sinuses, I ordered one last night. I got one that you can put essential oils in too, got one for decongesting and one for stress/anxiety 😊

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 09:25

This is a gross one.. but I have had a mole for at least 4 years maybe longer really can’t remember I’ve scratched it and it’s come off?! It didn’t bleed for long at all and looks to be scabbing over but definitely quite red it was slightly raised and pale brown only small! Is this normal?Blush

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 09:26

@KasparKat it was me! Mine can have essential oils in! Might look tofay for the ones that are best for anxiety x

KasparKat · 23/02/2021 09:40

Are you sure it was a mole? They tend to be fairly deep in the skin I think. Sounds like it could be sebhorric keratosis? They are brown and flat and often itchy. I've had lots frozen off by the dermatologist. They are completely harmless but mine were on my chest and looked awful and were so itchy I paid for it to be done privately.

KasparKat · 23/02/2021 09:44

Sorry I spelt that wrong it's seborrhoeic. I have checked out the link below and it is non-scary.

yeovilhospital.co.uk/seborrhoeic-keratoses/

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 10:39

@KasparKat thank you for that link! I think it was! I’ve thought it was a mole for years! Mine is (was Confused) on my left breast! Looking at the pics it’s definitely that!

MrsWhites · 23/02/2021 10:52

@tmh88 my husband has scratched a mole off before. It scabbed over and when it healed the mole was still there because like @KasparKat said the mole is deeper into the skin than just the surface.

I have some of those mole looking things like Kaspar described too though so could also be one of those.

KasparKat · 23/02/2021 11:01

Pleased it helped. My GP charmingly described them as "barnacles of age"!

Skyliner001 · 23/02/2021 11:41

Arg ladies I feel I am on the edge with this breast anxiety. I can't stop going back over lumpy bits which I know are there, I'm going back again and again. Feel really drained and sad, I was doing so well, but it's like a constant urge that I can't resist. Just feel a bit like a zombie really.

Skyliner001 · 23/02/2021 11:42

🥺

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 12:19

@Skyliner001 so sorry, I honestly completely sympathise with you it’s a horrible feeling!! It’s difficult when you don’t know what other women’s breasts feel like really isn’t it! I’ve never touched any other than my own! I hope I can give you some reassurance that mine really are like deflated balloons/bean bags! Blush is there anything you really enjoy doing? I bought an adult activity book and I find I can kill an hour doing that! I’ll post the link now!

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 12:21

In fact all of you buy the above book! It has pages in to write your fave memories etc and things that make you happy! It’s a nice book to do! I got it as a gift for my birthday last year x

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 12:26

Sorry that’s not the one I bought I posted! That one was a gift the one I bought was a dot to dot book! Blush

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 12:28

Sorry for the millionth post now if I was to get one though it would be the one I posted the link to not the dot to dot! 😂

Goolies · 23/02/2021 12:34

@Skyliner001 I’m sorry you’re having a tough day. Breasts are a worry for me too amongst other things. I have just finished my period so should be checking now but It makes me so stressed. My left breast is so bumpy lumpy and sore most of the month. You’re not alone with feeling like this honestly xx

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 12:40

@Goolies my breasts are painful most of the month, I think it’s quite common a lot of the females in my family are the same! Do you wear an underwired bra? I don’t anymore and don’t suffer with pain as much now x

Goolies · 23/02/2021 13:00

@tmh88 I’ve stopped wearing a bra most days! As I’m working from home it’s doable! But yes when I start wearing them won’t be wearing underwired for sure

onlyreadingneverposting8 · 23/02/2021 13:25

Hi guys! Seems like for virtually all of us boobs are stressful. I have stretch marks band bits that feel emptier if that makes sense. Believe it or not I don't check mine at all. But I've found two lumps that have been checked out! I'm hoping that my risk of breast cancer is very low ... lots of babies, years and years of breastfeeding and no family history. 🤞🏼 I actually don't like touching them anymore in case I find something!

@tmh88 thanks for the book recommendation!

tmh88 · 23/02/2021 13:28

@onlyreadingneverposting8 I don’t get breast anxiety really and never check anymore! Had a couple of the harder lumps looked into in the past and they’re cysts!

Book definitely worth it as it takes your mental attention Xx

chorusline79 · 23/02/2021 14:40

@onlyreadingneverposting8 does breastfeeding reduce breast cancer risk? I didn't know this and I'm not allowed to google anymore!! That makes sense as my Doc asked me if I breastfed my babies when we talked about my family breast cancer but it didn't twig Confused

KasparKat · 23/02/2021 14:40

Yes since I've had breast cysts I've been wearing seamless bras by Sloggi. They are so comfortable I can't go back to underwires now, it feels like torture!
