Erm...alot of pretending going on. Have escaped a couple of times, but it's over now.
Kept my mind off things by doing loads with oldest DD. Baking, playing games etc.
Don't know what I'd do if i didn't have her.
Monday tomorrow Smile
Dreading seeing HV after last week.
Need to find a new job just so I don't have to go back to my old one.

I hope you're ok loopy. xx

So glad he understands. Deep down that must be a huge weight off your shoulders.knowing that you don't have to pretend. You can shout, scream, laugh, cry etc knowing that It changes nothing from his point of view.
It sounds like he's taking the right steps to understand what things are like for you.
It's hard. I've never found anything so hard in all my life.
I didn't think it would be like this that's for sure.

I think, from what you've written, you are an amazingly strong person.
I wish I could be half as strong as you are.

xx
PS: don't be fooled...it would all fall apart without you there Smile

Loopy I think you're right.
Because now you're going to get the help you need to get you better. Smile
But I am so scared to be so honest. I'm scared about what she will do/say/think.
What if it's something I can't just say without there being some kind of consequence ??
I look after the girls..I do everything I can for them..but what if it's not enough and she thinks the best thing would be to take them away from me??
I know what I need to do but I have all these things going round in my head that stop me.

I've been told a couple of times (once by you and today by a friend) about not making any life changing, drastic decisions, but what if I need to? Just to make me ok.
Because this one decision I think I need to make might be the answer (or atleast half of it)
But on the other hand I want to make sure my girls are always happy so maybe I need to sacrifice my happiness for them. And for them to be truly happy maybe I need to be unhappy and just get on with things.

I don't want to ruin their lives Sad

Thankyou. Sorry didn't mean I wanted you to post everything on here. I was just trying to get my thoughts down and kind of wondered if anyone had any answers.

And I think you should definitely buy the bag and try blaming it on the depression. Spending money alway cheers me up!
It really made me laugh that did! GrinGrin

Well I've been taking these new ones for nearly 5 weeks now so hopefully soon they will start to work.
Then I guess the next thing will be to sort out my problems.
Going to a mum and baby group today Confused so make up has been done properly, dyed my hair (which was well overdue!) and I've even just painted my nails.
I think it's the most normal I've looked in a while!!
I am going to look like I know what I'm doing and there is absolutely nothing wrong with me!!

Hope it goes ok with the school nurse x

It wasn't too bad. DD enjoyed it and I do need to get out with her more. I've not booked an appointment no Confused I think I might try to talk to my HV next week though.
If you want to talk about last night or whatever you can pm me if you don't feel like you can tell your GP yet.
I'm always about. It might help??
Hope you're alright x

BellaBoo85 · 26/01/2012 21:11

Definitely make another appointment with a GP, one who you feel more comfortable talking to.
What about going tomorrow?? Or the beginning of next week?
Don't leave it too long.
Is there anyone else you can talk to?
What about your friend whose a CPN?
xx
