I can't even explain what is wrong properly it sounds so pathetic. There is no one close to me I can open up to and I din't want DD to see me crying

Post on here, there are quite a fair few lovely ladies on here with lots of advice which has me through different situations.

I'm sure someone can help, and just by getting it there it also relieves a bit of the stress away from the problem I find.

Thank you for responding. I have had kinder responses on here that in people I have around me in RL.

It's a few things that have built up. DD is having her b'day party this week and the weather is going to fuck it up as no one likes to get in the car in the snow. I have put so much into planning it from the start. I have started a job and haven't spent as much quality time with her lately so this was going to be such a special treat to make up for that but I don't know if the entertainers will even be able to make it I just don't know what to do.

I want to quit the job but feel pathetic doing so as it is onlt PT but it still gives me so much pressure. i suffer from anxiety and have had treatment but to no help.

Today I tried to open up to a friend I met up with but she just didn't understand why I was upset and almost brushed it off like what's the big deal. Her DD was then really unkind to mine and it just broke my heart now I can't see a way out I just want to run away somewhere where people are kind and supportive. I feel so lonely.

I tld you it was stupid. Maybe it is but I hurt so much

What did the DD do to upset you? Your friend sounds quite insensitive but maybe she didn't know what to say?

How old is your DD? I'm sure she won't mind about the party. She's got her mum, that's much more important :)

There are lots of options for anxiety treatment, you could as your doctor to change it?

She will be 4. Friends dd was just dismissive of my dd. Typical stuff ignoring and getting her to do all the clearing up and bossing her. Dd just takes it she is such a gentle soul, like me I suppose. That's why today it just got me. I suppose my friend didn't really think, but I gave her enough clues that I was reaching out. I really don't think my anxiety will get better . I will have to quit my job like a failure which I am

just can't slep - going over and over in my head what i have to do to resolve the problem on saturday but I have to wait until tomorrow to make rthe calls obviously. I can't cope with this with life stuff and i am going to ruin DDs birthday

Whereabouts are you? The weather forecast says it's going to ease up towards the end of the week. The party might not go as badly as you fear you know?

really? I am in SE area and the forecast tonight triggered the attack as it predicted more snow. What am I going to do if it has to be cancelled? I can't cope with it I know how stupid I sound but it is very real for me

Ooh you're not being silly! I get the same way about his kind of stuff...it won't ruin anything...nothing at all.

SOME of your gust list will make it...DD will be thrilled with her presents/her cake and also her dramatic snowy Birthday....if it goes wrong and hardly anyone can come then make it into a sleging party with hot choc and cake...dont stress...it's only Wed tomorrow...that's days! Are you having it in your home? Is it hard to get to in the snow?

I know that it's very real for you don't fret about what I might think ok? let me check the forecast I haven't seen the SE 'm in the NE and I have to travel down to SW tomorrow to collect my DS Just checking the met office don't go away

Also I did used to get V emotional about my DDs birthday too...I think now it might be re-living the trauma of her birth! Lol...it is hard when you are a perfectionist...learning that kids and life are unpredictable makes it easier.

thank you both v much I am scared that the staff at the gym may not show up and I have to call them tomorrow to tell me if someone will be there to lead the party 100% do you think that is the right thing to do?

Try not to be too upset anyone....I am in the SE (Surrey) and I don't think this snow is going to stay past tomorrow. Actually I'm thinking I am going to wake up tomorrow and it is going to have started thawing out already.

It snowed for ages today but it was hours before it laid......

perfectionism is part of my problem they when I was going through group therapy. I put so much work into this and I feel terribly guilty. I hate myself so much for this going wrong she is such a lovely child, an angel really and I want her to have a lovely b'day but i am too stressed. I am ill with stress

anyone hun, would feel happy to let me know what county you're in? Then I can get a better idea. So far it seems there is more snow overnight tonight but then sunny and clear tomorrow and some rain tomorrow night so that should help the snow clear.

Don't worry, surely you can postpone the party if you need to and hold it when the weather's better? Don't tell her you feel you're not going to ruin her party but that you're going to make her birthday last even longer this year and having it next week will be great because everyone will be able to get there safely. We had to do something similar this year because we were travelling (long boring story)and I was worried but it turned out fine. Children are very accepting, especially if you let her choose some simple but really fun things to do at home on Saturday - do some Christmas cards, baking, make snow angels, bake some cakes, watch a movie. Take it all one step at a time and you'll do fine What's the problem with work?
