I can't even explain what is wrong properly it sounds so pathetic. There is no one close to me I can open up to and I din't want DD to see me crying

how are you doing now? I hope you have got a handle on things, you know kids are very resilient and I am sure DD will be happy as long as you are there with her.Keep strong and don't try to change what can't be changed just work with what you have.Thinking of you :)

Anyone you sound like a lovely mum who just wants everything to be right. Do you really have to make everything 'perfect'? Wouldn't your DD be happy with anything as long as you're there? Perhaps you could think about easing up on yourself? I also suffer from setting the bar so high that I'm bound to fail, then of course I get to be mean to myself and beat myself up. Ask yourself would you treat a beloved friend the way you treat yourself? You are your own best friend and you need to look after your best friend and cut her a bit of slack. Kids can be very accepting of what life throws at them. I do hope all goes well today. Happy Birthday to your DD!
