Ok, I know we technically haven't finished 2022 yet as there is still the Christmas Concert for some (my ds is not taking part due to his conservatoire concert) but NYMT have released details of their 2023 season & auditions here

My dd didn’t get MDS funding but I do have some knowledge of the process. She did get a DaDa aged 16.

@MxPicklesThats great news! Congratulations! the practical bit of what the MDS covers varies between RBS, elmhurst, Tring and Hammond but if you go on the RBS website it has a calculator so you can work out what you would have to pay if you got one. Also don’t think it won’t happen if your DD finds herself ion the waiting list for a MDS after the funding audition. There is a huge amount of movement between the 4 schools and the MDS’s so people can still be offered them over the summer as people give them back to go to a different school. Elmhurst and RBS have enough MDS’s for all the year 7’s but Tring and the Hammond have a smaller amount to hand out. Fingers crossed for the MDS - if that doesn’t happen - I think they have bursaries as well x

Hi - I have a very happy DD who has just been recalled for Boy in an armchair, when I grow up and also the new musical workshop. Fingers crossed for anyone else that auditioned last weekend xx

Congratulations @Coniger that’s lovely news to get! Also huge congratulations to @MxPickles Dd, I’m afraid I have no idea about funding but hopefully it will all work out for her.
Hopefully we will start to get the recall materials soon.

Congrats to all those with recalls!! I’m thinking they won’t send out audition material until next week because there are still a group to audition this weekend? I remember last year we got it the Tuesday before recall weekend!! But agreed dates and times would be handy!

If it helps anyone- last year I had to try to change dd’s recall day at the last minute (few days before) as something came up for her. They were happy to change it, so if anyone is really stuck there is that option…

Congratulations to everyone on the recalls- exciting times. Im hoping for some news on audition times tomorrow! A few of my ds friends also got recalls so if it’s the same times he could potentially go with them and save us a long journey when we should be packing for holidays.

@Mcmumager I'd recommend you ask, and explain why. There will be at least 6 recall groups for each show over the course of the weekend so the chances of them being together aren't huge, but if you explain that for travel purposes it would help, they may be able to accommodate.
