It did the same on the first event too - heat 13 was the one I was interested in there. I thought it was my connection but then I couldn't get back to either event. The streaming was appalling!

I'm gutted. His first ever major comp outside of UK (despite being in it) and I can't even watch the race!

At least I'll see him swim live this weekend.

Well I'm at ponds forge!!! 5hr journey up yesterday including a detour because the A43 slip road from M40 was shut and then 2 accidents in M1 which had cleared but closed a lane.

Ds has his 400m free this morning.

He actually managed his 100 breast in under 2 minutes yesterday - which - for him - is amazing 🫣🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Smashed his 400m free with a 3 second pb!!!

So he's also beaten his own SE regional record!

DD and mates are off at an interclub gala today (after running a Parkrun this morning).

Amazing PBs there, only 1 second taken off the 400m free today and 1.5 off the 200m free but LC PBs regardless

Dd swam 3 races yesterday, 2 really good PBs which she was happy with. 2 seconds off 100 free. She’s still not quite on a regional time for anything but she seems accepting and is just seeing how close she can get. She’s within 3% on 4 now which is big progression from last year.

DS swam the 400IM today for the first time and not only survived but got a regional time. Must have taken it out of him though as the day went down hill from there.

No racing for us today. A bit of race admin, mind, as I am safer left in charge of a spreadsheet rather than a stopwatch.

Teen has somehow managed to consume 2 hefty roast lunches today! No pesto pasta and humus & carrots for her!

Well we are back from Sheffield!!!

Amazing swims from everyone this weekend - well done!

Ds made the World Series final for 50m free. Had a swim off as joint 30th and then finished 27th! Second fastest S9 swimmer in the field.

And got interviewed by British swimming who noticed he's always smiling! And he's chuffed because he was mentioned by the commentators too!!!

So all in all a successful weekend. I'm sure it'll catch up on me in a few days 🤣🤣
