That was a 4 sec PB!!!!

Back later for final. He's never had to swim heats and finals before so this will be an education. And a test to see if he can do it twice 🤣🤣🤷‍♀️🫣

He did junior nationals a few weeks ago (between my mum dying and me having surgery) and totally fluffed it and was 15 seconds out of his PB (this was a SC comp).

He's had to fight so much to keep his head in the game that really my goal for him (he always wants to do better!) was just to swim what he can and enjoy it.

Yep @Madcats, the hoodies are a nice deep green colour.

DS and I sent the advance party out to the restaurant last night to watch "mini" @itsgettingweird's race. We were cheering him on, knew it was a PB and waited for his medal position to be confirmed.

Sizing is generous. I got ds a large because he likes them loose fitting.

DD swam yesterday, Not a PB but not far off. She was miles away from nationals just before lockdown and looked liked she’d had enough. New head coach came in and she’s back to enjoying her swimming.
Came away with t shirt and hat yesterday, not too keen on the colour of hoodie.
off to watch some live streaming today much better than the sweating buckets of yesterday.
