So, with BYMT auditions already underway and NYMT open for booking, it's surely time for a 2022 thread?? Who's in?

Submitted DD's NYMT actor self-tape and booked her audition today, eek! Need to also get her musician audition recorded this side of Christmas as we go on hols on 27th and she's back to school on 4/5th (PCR dependent 🙈)

Gosh I really feel for all of you whose DCs have no news. I hope more news will come tonight or at least tomorrow, especially for those who auditioned a while back now.

At least we know the recalls have to happen next weekend now, and therefore they really have to get all the news out in the next couple of days. Hang in here!

Yesterday's zoomers were apparently told they would hear on Tuesday. I hope perhaps that is the very last cut off but more people might hear today. Fingers crossed.

So it could be Tues for everyone still in the waiting room. I’m waiting to hear if dd has got into a local orchestra too and was supposed to hear about that last week too but the manager/leader is off work sick…

People, triple check your junk. A friend has just found a recall email in their junk. Emails are coming from cicero@nymt and therefore getting sent there as not being recognised. Not true for everyone but a friend has just found an email from 2 days ago...

No recall materials have arrived. Makes it very difficult but at least it's fair! In addition to the fact that DS goes into tech tomorrow and has no more time after that, we've discovered trains from where we live to London are not running on Sunday!
It really MUST be today that the results come for everyone. Rooting for you all.

@Biscuitsneeded I hope tech goes well today. My kids had tech last night and it’s dress tonight. Now just crossing fingers they all get through the week with no illness!

That’s not great on the trains. If by some chance my ds was to get a recall- don’t feel he will- I think I’d need to drive now given the late timing. Tx

Thanks @Mcmumager. I hope the show goes really well for your DC and nobody gets ill. We've had a stinking cold here (not Covid) but I am the last one to get it and DS is on the mend, so am hoping nothing new develops!
Don't assume it will be a no for your DS. We know so many really talented people still waiting for news...
I am going to drive to a tube station early on Sunday and DS will go from there. Should be trains home by the evening at least. I think dealing with rail replacement buses would be too risky and it will be an early enough start as it is! Even looked at putting him on a train late Sat night after his last show but we don't have £100s for a hotel so we'll drive instead.
I really hope your DS gets good news today.
