Hi, have just joined here so hope I am posting in the correct place. Just wondering if anyone here has a child auditioning for NYMT or similar groups this year.
My DD (age 11 ) is auditioning next sunday

Still no news for DD. I suspect we have been missed off a list as social media says all results have gone out. I've sent a quick email. Did the results come from Jeremy's email or enquirers @NYMT. Not hopeful!

Hopefully yours is positive. Apparently my email bounced back and that's why I didn't receive. Considering the Easter course but do the kids on the courses feel second best to those on the show - that's my worry.

Sorry message posted before I saw the replies.
So sorry dancing daughters.

Dd and my student both did the Easter course last year and found it fantastic.
Last year it was in Tonbridge and they were the only group there at the time so I can't really say if they felt funny about the other shows as they weren't in contact with anyone from them during the course.
We still sing songs from the musical that they wrote on that course!

No explanation as to what happened with our email, just the no one which is a shame. We had gotten our hopes up with all the waiting last night. She's off dancing today and isn't showing any disappointment yet. We still have YMT so I'm sure she'll be doing something.

And she won't be applying next year to NYT because of it being her GCSEs and easter will be spent revising! Lol

Well done to those who have made it onto a show! And commiserations to those who missed out - especially the ones who fell foul of the email system. Thanks for all the support on here guys.
