Glad you're both around Bez and Buffy, even if life has been hectic. I hope you're both doing a bit better now.

The gym has started a count down to Christmas programme which is properly hellish. Just aboit survived the class and I'll be in agony again like last week.

buffy, that sounds appalling! Hope you’re feeling OK now.

T25 extreme circuit done. It’s been a crazy week so I’m cutting myself some slack for not having squeezed in any other workouts.

Sorry, miscounted -117!

Alittlefrustrated · 08/11/2024 21:59

Very brisk walk tonight - came in sweating to be hit by a wall of heat. DP had heating on full blast!
I've had a week off swimming, as my left leg is still gammy, and knee hurts in bed. I'll return next week but switch to front crawl, for a straight leg kick. Or I might try a hybrid stroke with breast stroke arms.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 09/11/2024 09:29

Sorry about the leg, Alittlefrustrated. We have had a chapter of misfortune on here lately.

T25 pyramids done. It’s not getting any better!

As a perpetually frozen person, frustrated, I like the sound of your dp! Long term injuries are so very irksome, I hope you get some relief soon. My gammy shoulder is niggling me after the pull ups so I need to watch it again.

I forgot to post yesterday, but I did my hill walk with the dog and had a very invigorating sea dip with my friend. I didn't want to go but it was blissful. Today was s&c. Tiny increase on my deadlift to 67.5kg for three reps.

Another brisk walk in the dark, but with my 14yo DS, as bodyguard 💪
Started some rehab/stregthening exercises, from local hospital physio website for my leg.

Gorgeous sea dip yesterday, but it was only 10 mins so I won't count it. This evening I had a short run.

1 hour full body strength workout, using body bar and wrist/ankle weights, for a change. Enjoyed it!

I'm actually knackered from 3 hours cutting back gigantic cordylines in the garden.
Sitting on my ass now with a good book.

That's a lot of cutting back frustrated. I need to attack my garden at the weekend, among a million other jobs.

Absolutely gorgeous swim in the sea today. It was cold, but with the clear, still water and the sun shining it could have been looking at the Med.
