I don't think the differences are that viable (apart from my arms) :(

Was posting on some fitness group on Facebook and I came to the conclusion that the differences are kind of there but most certainly not obvious ;(

You've posted so many of these! You look just fine. Up your weights or whatever if you’re really not happy but I vote just relax :)

Tougherpolicies · 02/08/2022 16:27

What is your actual question? You look good in the pics

AlwaysAugust · 02/08/2022 16:30

You look lovely. Please don't worry any further over this.

exnewwifeproblems · 02/08/2022 16:31

You look fine. What's the issue?

Onlyrainbows · 02/08/2022 16:31

That even though I work out hour a day of heavy workouts you can barely see any difference :( I had the idea it was more obvious!!

And that in the before I felt fat at 71kg the latter one I'm definitely lighter (as in by the scales) but it's like what's the point??

OP posts:
Onlyrainbows · 02/08/2022 16:33

I might as well just drink all the beer that I've stopped drinking and be happy

OP posts:
JaneJeffer · 02/08/2022 16:36

Can't you do both?

StrangeCondition · 02/08/2022 16:36

crack on then!

Fizzibility · 02/08/2022 16:36

You can either be skinny or happy. Your call 🤣

Onlyrainbows · 02/08/2022 16:38

I used to be skinny and be happy, but it seems that my body only responds to running for proper weight loss ;(

I do the workouts and eat the chocolate and drink the red wine.

Just keep doing the weights

mosex · 02/08/2022 16:39

You're gorgeous!

run then. or don’t 🤷🏾‍♀️

Lemonblossom · 02/08/2022 16:39

No I agree. Just forget it. You’re wasting your time.

Run to the pub, maybe?

Onlyrainbows · 02/08/2022 16:41

I can't run (or at least not until they agree to give me iron infusions on a regular basis).

The most obvious change is around my arms and saddlebags but that's it, again nothing spectacular if I compare the "before" and "after".

I can see an obvious difference. You are much more toned and defined in the last photo.

What is it you are expecting exactly from your workouts? You know that the pictures of people with well defined abs, sinewy muscle etc usually involve ridiculously strict diets, protein ingestion, diuretics, and quite often liberal use of photoshop?

Softplayhooray · 02/08/2022 16:50

What's your food intake like? If you want to lose more weight that's probably where you need to look (although you don't need to lose any weight).

Lots of muscle work can make you puffier short term while your body retains water so take a few days off and you might look a bit leaner. An hour every single day seems like a lot.

Onlyrainbows · 02/08/2022 16:55

That was me, no Photoshop! (Just marathon training and about 30mins of strength training on a daily basis). But I already am on 500 calorie deficit so I'm genuinely like what?? Although I do admit I'm not as flabby, my stomach doesn't stick out as much, etc...

I don't think the differences are that viable (apart from my arms) :(

I think it's more my beer/wine that I miss and that it seems to have not a massive effect on my physique. I don't begrudge the exercise, several doctors have told me it obvious that it keeps me healthy.

Stop obsessing. It's really bad for you.

Onlyrainbows · 02/08/2022 17:07

I actually see it as a "welcome distraction" (believe it or not!)

OP posts:
Lemonblossom · 02/08/2022 17:09

Honestly can’t you see that doing this online just makes you look self obsessed? It comes across like you just want people to say his amazing you look.
