I've decided to bite the bullet and get a peloton. Does anyone have a referral code for the £100 off accessories?

Oh and do get the peloton shoes! Go up a size as well. I'm usually a 5 but the 6 is a perfect fit. I'd also recommend the mat too but the Heart rate monitor and ear phones are neither here nor there

It is definitely worth using a referral code when buying a Peloton as for only £45 more than the basic package you get shoes, dumbbells and headphones.

Just took delivery of my Bike + last Thursday and both myself and wife and son have all had a go. It was just a workout getting it upstairs as they would only do a threshold delivery :(

Its the start of the new me hopefully to try lose some weight and get some fitness again. I'm never going to be one of these gym bodies but can try take care of myself.

If anyone is interested my referral code is 5T8JYG - definitely a considered purchase but early signs are good!

I saw this thread is still active, so I just thought I would update and say that I bought my peloton and it arrived in November. I absolutely love it! It is perfect for this lockdown, and the DC love it too. I'm so glad I took the plunge.

Ah great, you'll love it. Did you go for the bike or the bike+? We have the original and love it - you'll see results regardless really, I think the plus is useful for the additional yoga/strength etc as the screen turns but we didn't need it for that really.

Hi @Shai2021, the only difference between both bikes is that the Bike+ has a screen that rotates so you can look at it whilst doing matwork or other workouts. There is a price difference of about £500 for that function. With the normal bike the screen stays fixed but you can cast a workout from your the bike to a smart tv or tablet or use the app to do other types of classes on a multitude of devices so you can definitely get the same results with both. The delivery times are usually longer for the Bike+ as well but not sure if this has changed now. Hope this helps!

Hi Choupette5 & MKCH, went for the Bike+ at the end. Got £100 off with the code so the damage was limited!! It did say the wait for Bike+ is 12 weeks, but I got a delivery slot for 10th March. So that is 4 weeks from now...not long.

I used to be a member of David Lloyd (which is not cheap either) before lockdown and the only thing I enjoyed was the spinning classes. If this can replace that membership, then I wont have regrets buying the bike.

Mine was just delivered at the end of January and I love it. I'm not on it every day like a lot of the people in the facebook groups etc and Im very unfit but its really fun and so many classes its hard to get bored.
Happy to answer any questions! I think its worth it though. It took about 4 weeks for delivery for me.

Also for what its worth I used a code and got the shoes for £20 - they fit really well (size up) for wide feet, we got one pair of the pelo ones then one pair from sportsdirect for £35 - in comparison the pelo ones were a bargain and they come with cleats etc!

The code works if you add the bike and accessories to your basket, I added the bike and shoes and with a code only paid £20 extra for the shoes Smile I have a feeling it won’t work on the bike on its own, it’s money off only when you add accessories xxx

@Choupette5 That's not right. There's more difference between bike and bike + ...

Larger touchscreen
Touchscreen swivels (though you can get round this with a pivot add on for the bike)
Better sound system (may not matter if you always wear headphones)
Improved compatibility with apple devices like the watch
Auto follow which automatically changes your resistance as you follow a ride

I have a bike and am happy with it, but just wanted to correct what you've said as it's a bit misleading.

After reading all the peloton threads on MN I bit the bullet and I’ve ordered a bike+, can’t wait for it to arrive!

Can anyone recommend a good heart rate monitor? My Fitbit is an old one and doesn’t measure HR. I don’t think I want a chest one, getting bamboozled with all the information online...!

Courgette I use the Peloton chest monitor and haven't had a problem with it, but I know people complain about them.
