I thought I had better start one seeing as no one else has.
Please add your updates, whether it is a New Year's Resolution to get fit or you have been here for the long haul!

I have just had two days off due to my lower abs being hugely painful, thing I must have pulled something the other day.
Hopefully back on it after the child goes to sleep.

Hope all is going well for the rest of you and you are all eager to go again when the kids are back at school. My poor DS1 starts back today!

Well I've suddenly seen some changes in the last couple of days after 3 1/2 weeks. A couple of pounds lost finally, and some exercises have just got easier - I can get lower on the scissors, more like Natalie than Anita, and the jumping lunges are getting better.

If I ever manage a pushup though it will be the first time in my life!

Hello fellow Jillian devotees.

The last day of January, so onwards and upwards and Natalie-like for February.

I have finally got my waist below 80cm. At this rate we will be bikini-ready by the Summer.

Oh, well done everyone!
Envy spinning - I'm determined to be able to do full press-ups this year but I'm finding it hard work.

Logg1e - you can do it again, going to more Natalie if you've been doing anitas, or using more weight. Or try one of the other dvds like Ri30

What am I doing sitting here? I should be downstairs shredding! See you later.

OK, L2D10, roll on L3! Plus 2x30 sec side planks per side and some bent over rows, military presses and deadlifts (going to do another set of 5 of those in a moment).

Rest days as per usual this weekend - so see you all on the February thread which one of you will start tomorrow. Smile

Read TIPs advice on the knee stuff.
I have funny knees too so I'll do those knee exercises to develop my little 'knee'muscles on top of the shred stuff. Thanks TIP- and Errol too. Smile
I want to get my cardio up still so I'm still going to try some fast jogging - for a short time - rather than skipping.
All the best to you all.

Hey Shreddies, just started day 1 and have a question: Are you supposed to so 10 days each of each level?

L2D7 done today. I had a rest day yesterday and thought I'd be feeling full of beans but I wasn't. I actually struggled quite badly with it today.

Welcome 2tiredtocare. I think the idea is that you do 10 days of each level but they don't have to be consecutive days. I started on something like the 7th January (not entirely sure of the exact date) and have now done 17 sessions but it has taken me longer then 17 days to do get this far. How did you find day 1?

Thanks Lindt I really enjoyed it, it's easier to hang on in there when you know it'll all be done it 20 minutes

2tired - IIRC if you look at the 'recommendations' on the DVD JM says to do each level for as many days as you feel you need before you move on. I've done it before so I'm doing the 10 days per level - each weekday with weekends off so the 30 days takes me 6 weeks. Note that you do not have to be doing everything perfectly 'natalie' style (else those of us who can't do full pushups would be stuck!).

Thanks for setting up the Feb thread Lily, see you all over there. Smile
