I thought I had better start one seeing as no one else has.
Please add your updates, whether it is a New Year's Resolution to get fit or you have been here for the long haul!

I have just had two days off due to my lower abs being hugely painful, thing I must have pulled something the other day.
Hopefully back on it after the child goes to sleep.

Hope all is going well for the rest of you and you are all eager to go again when the kids are back at school. My poor DS1 starts back today!

d18 l2 d10 day off tomorrow or do I start l3 and have a break after? ummm. off to download and decide.
Waves to spinningirl10 Yes I do live in Japan. My house even has sliding paper doors and a big Japanese pine in the garden. Paper sliding walls and toddlers, interesting mix!!
Lindt70Percent Hope you find your rings. How about the u bend under the sink? Or did you take them off to plank?
ShotgunNotDoingThePans I heard yah! My lungs are definitely apathetic, and sometimes I imagine I squashing Gillians head between my weights. Blush(only on bad days!)

tanukiton · 24/01/2014 09:26

not lungs lunges

spinningirl10 · 24/01/2014 09:27

Taunikon it sounds lovely! Think I'd worry about paper doors and toddlers!! The Japanese seem like a healthy race, maybe it's all the sushi that gives me that idea Grin and whenever I see Japanese tourists they're always so well dressed! Probably completely different living thereGrin

ErrolTheDragon · 24/01/2014 10:11

Better paper doors than glass-panelled ones.

Anyway, L2D5 done, plus my extra planks and inclined press-ups (3x20 today)

Nightwish · 24/01/2014 10:14

L3D7 done.
I just went back to the December thread to see when I started... it was the 4th Dec Blush.
So if I manage to do every day to Monday then it will have been the 57 day shred. Oh dear. At least I am getting there I suppose.

Lindt70Percent · 24/01/2014 11:02

I found my rings! Grin

I picked up my daughter's friend this morning (my turn to do the school run) and she reminded me that I'd given her a short reflexology treatment at the weekend and said her nanny was wondering whether I would do her feet for her. It was a lightbulb moment - I'd taken my rings off to do her feet! I'd put them on a shelf in the living room. I'm so relieved as I really had the feeling that I'd never see them again.

Haven't shredded yet today. Wondering whether to have a day off but I know I'll find it difficult to fit in over the weekend so perhaps I should force myself to do today.

Still feel quite down but have worked out it's probably PMT. Blush Still eating crap. So far today I've had half a twix, a pain au chocolat and one square of my Lindt. I was doing so well but am falling off the wagon.

Nightwish I don't think the number of days matter, so long as you're doing it! I think I got as far as L3D4 last time but it had taken me a lot longer than 24 days and then I just gave up which I'm so annoyed about. This time I just want to keep going and if I really dislike level 3 this time I'll move on to something else. As long as I'm doing something then it's better than doing nothing!

spinningirl10 · 24/01/2014 12:43

Lindt really pleased you've found your rings!!

Errol...well done on the extra bits, are they getting easier?

spinningirl10 · 24/01/2014 13:25

I've looked back and can't find my measurements. So I'll do them every Friday. I measured myself on Jan 7th and since then I've lost 1 inch off my waist and bum and 1 inch off each thigh!! Also lost 5lb in weight since thenGrin

ErrolTheDragon · 24/01/2014 14:52

Errol...well done on the extra bits, are they getting easier?

well, the press-ups are in the sense that I can do a couple more each day and then go a bit nearer horizontal each week. I need to find some piece of furniture just a bit lower than a sofa arm for next week. The extended arm planks are OK but I'm still finding the forearm planks very tough - the first 30 secs are ok but by the minute I'm breathing really hard. It takes quite a while because I need a minutes recovery after each one! And side planks are really hard - I've only been doing those twice a week though.

Anyway, the weekend is here, rest days for me. Smile

spinningirl10 · 24/01/2014 15:52

Ah well done, slowly does it, it's a great idea to get you down onto the floor with themGrin

PeppermintCream · 24/01/2014 19:16

Lindt - pleased you've found your rings.

Spinning - well done on the weight loss

L3D4 - done, slightly easier today. I've toned more than losing much weight, I need to improve my diet as well. Treating myself to wine tonight Smile

LakeFlyPie · 24/01/2014 20:31

L2 D5 done.
57 day Shred sounds great Nightwish Grin

tanukiton · 24/01/2014 23:49

Lindt70Percent HURRAY!
spinningirl10 congrats on the 5lbs
Actually Japanese cooking isn't that healthy
(white rice/tempura), but portion control is a lot better. If you go for dessert it is tiny! I think I sobbed the first time I got a tiny bit of cheesecake. Now I like the fact it isn't too big.
Think I am going to chill today. Level 3 tomorrow!!!

officelady · 25/01/2014 07:13

Good morning my beautifully toned internet chums!
Forgot to post for the last 2 days Blush but fear not, I am ploughing on through level 3 Grin
D24L3 this morning - however, I have had to rein in my enthusiasm for attempting to match Natalie because it appears that I am slightly pregnant Shock Haven't told a soul yet so shhhhh keep it under your hats okay?

spinningirl10 · 25/01/2014 07:16

D13 L2 d6 doneGrin

Ooh cheesecakes my fav, a small bit would make me cry too!

Office congratulations!!

spinningirl10 · 25/01/2014 07:18

Oh and thanks Tanukiton and peppermint.....it certainly helps to keep motivated seeing a difference and checking in here!

Logg1e · 25/01/2014 10:39

A (quiet) Congratulations to officelady.

L1D6 done with lots of difficulty and low motivation this morning after my first rest day.

PeppermintCream · 25/01/2014 17:26

Officelady - what fantastic news, congratulations!

I'm treating myself to a day off today. DS is I'll, DH us also feeling rubbish, so we're relaxing. I'll be back tomorrow.

Lindt70Percent · 25/01/2014 17:48

L2D3 done this morning. I'm not enjoying this level at all. Hate all the plank stuff but wondering if it's just because my feet are finding the carpet too slippery. I've decided to just hold still in plank position during these bits as find trying to follow along and failing too off-putting. I suppose I'm 'phoning it in' but [need a big raspberry smiley] to that.

Haven't bought another set of weights yet but need to do that soon as think it may really help.

Lindt70Percent · 25/01/2014 17:49

Congratulations officelady! Lovely news. Grin

intheround · 25/01/2014 20:38

Congratulations officelady!
L2D1 what a nightmare- started of well but those planks killed. Was feeling quite down about it, till lovely DS2 reminded me how bad I was when I started L1 and how much easier it was at the end. I think it will take longer than 10days on L2

LakeFlyPie · 25/01/2014 20:43

Congratulations Officelady, v impressed you've had the energy to keep up with Natalie at all.

L2D6 done this afternoon as was at 'Burns Night' at school this evening. Something momentarily painful happened to my knees / thigh muscles whilst carrying / dancing with DS2 (who is getting too heavy to carry whilst dancing).
Think a rest day may be in order tomorrow to avoid further muscle insult, all those squat moves in L2 are killer.

WhereAreMyShoes · 25/01/2014 21:53

Hello all.
LV1D1 done.

After a week off Blush due to poorly kids and pmt etc I'm back to the shred and am starting afresh.

I replaced the cardio with the rowing machine on level 5 (of 8) and found I could work much harder than when I'm worrying about how much damage I'm doing to my knees.

Well done for keeping at it.

WhereAreMyShoes · 25/01/2014 21:55

congratulations officelady. Hope you're feeling well. Thanks

MrsMarcMarquez · 25/01/2014 21:58

Checking in. Took a few days off due to PMT sluggishness. Time to get back to it.
