Fuck you for the corrupt racist lying bastard you are. I know you don't give a shit about our country - our laws, our democracy, our standards. I know the NHS is on the table.

I know you will end up like Trump - disgraced and vilified.

The ignorance shown by both sides is quite frightening.

Will Brexit make as much difference as people think? Personally I really doubt it as we will end up being broadly aligned with Europe.

Tax wise, we had a choice between the Tories, who traditionally would be considered left of centre based on tax rates and priorities and Labour who are slightly further left, excepting some totally barmy policies on share confiscation and a top rate tax rate of 57%.

Both parties want further tax breaks for the lower paid and no more tax in the traditional’middle’ classes. And no one knows how to touch the ethereal top 0.1-1% who are systematically milking the system, but well advised and can choose how to ‘take’ their earnings.

So you are left with a choice of unedifying characters, a charming liar (my choice) or a jealous hypocritical private school educated racist.

At least we got the lesser of two evils.

That is at heart fairly accurate about Labour's consideration of the message from voters. Labour keeps thinking it knows much better than voters what is good for them - it is big state, paternalistic controlling and the British public rejected it.

I know when people lose it is very upsetting for those who put a lot of usually good well meaning effort into the losing cause. I voted remain and we lost. However there comes a point when you have to move on, let the anger go as it damages the person - best to try not to think about it in that sense and just think about why the Labour message did not persuade voters.

Labout could have voted through the perfectly reasonable withdrawal agreement which was essentially Mrs May's 3 year hard negotiated deal with the EU with a few BJ tweaks. It was even basicaly Labour policy - customs union etc but Labour decided to put partry before country, annoy brexit voters and got exactly what most expected - loss in the polls.
