Just turned on the tv and the jolly Christmas ads are a counterpoint to how I'm feeling. To say the least.

Busy afternoon applying for charity payments/donations for foodbank clients who can't pay their bills/rent.

One is a mother fleeing domestic abuse whose ex has stopped paying the paltry amount he pays for his 4 kids just before xmas!

And tomorrow I'm attending UC meeting with someone who is also fleeing dv.

The nurse that came round to take my blood just now spent the 45 minute visit throwing up in my downstairs loo. I told her to go home she said she can't because she is on 0 hour contact and if they go off sick they don't get hours next week, as like a punishment...

This is an interesting way to decide who to vote for if you're not yet sure which way you're leaning. vote for policies I was surprised by my own result, it was a lot more mixed than I expected.

Can't get over Trump claiming that he was here and "called" the EU Referendum, when he only arrived the day after ....but there again, I think his grasp on the truth reality is so tenuous that he genuinely thinks it's what happened

As for Brexit and 5 years of Tory government not being wall to wall sunshine, how long will the government blaming "the previous remainer parliament" wash for with great British public? Judging by the fact they don't seem bothered that nearly a decade of Tory led government might just be responsible for cuts, poverty and austerity, I'm not holding my breath.
