Just saw this on FB.

Voting Conservative because you don’t like Corbyn is like putting dog shit on a pizza because you don’t like pineapple.

CendrillonSings · 03/12/2019 18:28

PMK, Im still raging after the dispatches program, I fucking hate Britain and the sooner we sink into the sea the better

The electorate tends not to vote for people and parties who hate and despise them, generally speaking...

Peregrina · 03/12/2019 18:29

On the vote for policies website, I come out as Green. I don't regard myself as Green!

Something I posted on a different thread but needs repeating I feel

Whats the point of voting Tory if theres no one below you to kick down and make yourself feel better about your lot in life, they look at those above them and think I cant have that but I'll make sure those fuckers below me dont have what I have

Piggywaspushed · 03/12/2019 18:35

Thank you.

Haven't got a picture of either of my cats . I won't put a picture of the dead squirrel I was presented as a 'gift' yesterday here either...

bellabelly · 03/12/2019 18:39

Interesting, @Peregrina. I came out as a lot more green (25%) than I thought I would be. My result was only 50% Labour, thought it'd be much higher.

Icantreachthepretzels · 03/12/2019 18:40

That was an interesting website bellabelly thanks. I chose 60% of labour policies - so it's a good job I'm in a con/ labour marginal and I was voting for them anyway.

Irritatingly, though - at a constituency level 25% chose labour 24% chose green and 23% chose L.D - so far so good, I'm living in a place where 73% aren't evil bastards. Unfortunately 17% got tory and 9% got brexit - and brexit aren't standing. Which means (if BXP voters turn out) 26% go tory.
I really hope there are a few L.Ds and Greens willing to hold their nose and vote tactically this election. 73% of us want nothing to do with the right wing and - if we're not careful - we will lose out to the 26% because of Farage's onesided pact.

The English and the national pie charts showed similar numbers. Almost 75% of us across the whole country support labour/ L.D/ Green policies. If we can just vote tactically we can do this!

I fear we won't manage it. We'll be dragged down by the minority and then told we don't exist by the media.

Icantreachthepretzels · 03/12/2019 18:41

So I suppose - having just posted that - it's probably time to post this again:

Piggywaspushed · 03/12/2019 18:42

I come out as Green today : I think because essentially they are true left wing. 82% Green. 78% Labour. 12% Con!

I don't think the Greens will want me. I drove from work to the local shop today which is about a 20 second drive. I was a bit ashamed but lunch 'hour' is 25 minutes long.

Anyway, thanks to some posters for helping me to decide to vote Labour.

Icantreachthepretzels · 03/12/2019 18:49

I got 10% tory Blush - wasn't my fault, everyone else had frigging self id on their list of policies.

Coppersulphate · 03/12/2019 18:57

There are people on this site proposing that posters vote Labour.
So, just to balance things

Vote Conservative and get Brexit done.

CendrillonSings · 03/12/2019 18:58

well - it's lucky just isn't standing for election then, isn't it?

No, but their beloved Labour Party is, and people can feel the contempt for Britain emanating from them...

placemats · 03/12/2019 19:01

The vast majority of Waspi women aren’t middle class and affluent. Remember less than 10% are graduates. Many have worked in low paid jobs since they were 16, had their children when there was no maternity leave, gave up work until their kids started school because there was no child care and worked in female dominated jobs where equal pay was a joke.

Alsohuman a post from the last thread that is worth putting here.

tobee · 03/12/2019 19:01

Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

tobee · 03/12/2019 19:02

That was to the two posters before placemats
