It looks like a December General Election is on.

The EU have officially extended A50 until 31st January. We have to name an EU Commissioner though.

All that seems left to do is decide between the 9th and 12th December.

The difference between the two is about whether there is any possibility that the WAB can be passed before Parliament dissolves.

A pre-brexit GE is thought to favour the LDs at the expense of Labour and the Conservatives. What the Brexit Party decide to do and where they decide to stand will also be crucial.

If you're happy to vote the way Peel and Soros tell you, then fair enough, but at least be aware.

Are you a Corbyn supporting dog-whistler, a Fatberg supporting dog-whistler, or a Farage supporting dog-whistler? Just curious.

ContinuityError · 31/10/2019 06:59

It's humble pie day at the Brexit Arms

In your dreams - it’ll all be “chin chin” and conspiracy theories.

JustAnotherPoster00 · 31/10/2019 06:59

Happy No Brexit day to you too Misti, I think decorative vials of ditchwater should be gifted Grin

JustAnotherPoster00 · 31/10/2019 07:01

Swinson supporting dog-whistler? We need answers here not idle ploppage

I'm going to serve the humble pie. They may find it indigestible of course. There's no pleasing some people.

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 07:08

Best for Britain is ONLY recommending remain candidates. They’re not recommending tactical voting in the sense of how to vote out the Torys.

I think this is a big mistake, although the teenage bit of me thinks that it would be fun to see the Labour leavers get their comeuppance.

DGRossetti · 31/10/2019 07:08

Not sure the Twitter news will have any effect in the UK. When Jack Dorsey says "global" he seems to mean US Candidates global advertising, not all political advertising globally.

Happy to be corrected, but having wasted 24 hours trying to report an issue to a local authority via Twitter (apparently they "lost" the tweet) my cynicism remains undimmed.

Peregrina · 31/10/2019 07:11

It will never be humble pie in the Brexit Arms.
But at the last election there had been so much anti Corbyn stuff I felt "give the man a break" and I don't suppose I was the only one. Also the school cuts played well for Labour last time, and they haven't got any better.

Peregrina · 31/10/2019 07:15

DGR - yes that's a stereotypical working class Leave voting man, but exactly the same statements could be attributed to stereotypical Tory Leave voting women.

mrslaughan · 31/10/2019 07:21

Just looked at the get voting advise ans it's saying I should vote for David Gauke - REALLY? I thought he voted for Bozo's compressed timetable....... I will check back closer to the time.....

ContinuityError · 31/10/2019 07:26

I'm going to serve the humble pie.

With a large dollop of sour cream and washed down with a half of bitter I hope?

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 07:31

No sides.

ListeningQuietly · 31/10/2019 07:31

PMK to say how pleased I am that I can spend the weekend in the EU without leaving my bed Grin

Just have to get today over and done with - lots of miles.

Mistigri · 31/10/2019 07:33

I suppose it depends on his opponent but at least Gauke is sane and not stupid, which will I fear be minority atttributes in the new parliament.

Hoooo · 31/10/2019 07:33

Site is telling me to vote labour (not a surprise).
So that's that.
The tory twat will win, but hopefully with a much reduced majority.

lonelyplanetmum · 31/10/2019 07:35

sterotypical working class leave voting man

I can report the Leave voting working class women that I know ... are saying:

"So...it’s either Boris but leave (yay) or Corbyn and revoke.

Kinda like being asked to chose whether to be run over or shot. Impossible choice!"

Apparently it's not funny that Johnson has been shown up as a lying fucker. Apparently big boys made him do it.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hoooo · 31/10/2019 07:47

Has boris found his ditch yet?

mrslaughan · 31/10/2019 07:52

It will be interesting to see if the advise in the get voting page changes.......
Yes David Gauke is reasonably sane - but he was in gov voting for cuts to education, services and universal credit......

bellinisurge · 31/10/2019 07:59

None of those tactical voting threads answer my very local question- will the Brexshit Party present a credible threat to my sitting Labour MP. If they do, I will hold my nose and vote Labour. If not, I will consider other options (ruling out Tory/Brexshit).

JustAnotherPoster00 · 31/10/2019 08:01

Do we have an ETA on Penfold exploding yet? I dont want to miss it
