Just that really! The General Election is on, either 11th Dec or a few days before but it's going to happen now that Labour have agreed. Tactical voting websites are being prepared as we speak.

If you are a remainer, who will you vote for?

(And if any leavers lurk here, will you vote for Tories or Brexit party?)

Remainer. Will vote Lib Dem.

This will be the first election where I’m fully happy with where my vote is going!

OffTheShelfElf · 29/10/2019 20:17

Remainer. Will vote tactically, probably Lib Dem. I doubt we'll be able to oust our Tory MP, though.

Justapatchofgrass · 29/10/2019 20:30

ad her ance - who knew

Justapatchofgrass · 29/10/2019 20:33

Remainer. Done all the peoples vote marches etc

Tory seat but had been Lib Dem. Labour supporting. 1 and my family of 4 will vote Lib Dem as we did last time

But I will call my Tory MP out at the hustings- he was remain, in a remain seat who has support the government and leave at every possible opportunity as they bribed him with a junior minister role.

Just getting the EU flags out again.

GloriaTeasdale · 29/10/2019 20:35

Another tactical vote here..even if I have to hold my nose.

Justapatchofgrass · 29/10/2019 20:36

Oh and on the 1st November I will be sporting my "I'm still European" T shirt.

Never thought it would get 1 outing, never mind 2.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 29/10/2019 20:43

SNP. Although they are disgraceful on gender issues, they are Remain and the strongest party in my constituency.

Ihatemyseleffordoingthis · 29/10/2019 20:44

Remainer and embarrassed Labour party member here.
Not a Corbyn fan. Will vote Labour as safe Labour seat and excellent MP.
If I were not where I am I would vote tactically for Lib Dem Labour or Green (or independent) to ensure a Tory (or Brexit or other hard right party) candidate not returned.

MyNameIsArthur · 29/10/2019 20:46

I previously voted Tory and to leave in the referendum. I will now vote Lib dems and am now a Remainer.

My concern though is that Remainers votes will be diluted because their votes will be spread over Labour, Lib dems, SNP, Green and others whereas Leavers votes will be concentrated more on Tories, in which case Tories are more likely to get in again probably with a minority Government. Back to square one.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 29/10/2019 20:50

Firm remainder here and lifelong labour but I’m struggling with Corbyn. Will have a look what the best tactical vote is. Last time I tried Lib Dem was well and truly screwed over with hung parliament!

MyNameIsArthur · 29/10/2019 20:55

Last time I tried Lib Dem was well and truly screwed over with hung parliament

I know what you're saying but I think when Lib dems were in coalition with Tories, they dampened down the Tories plans and austerity may have been harsher if Tories had had a majority

CrunchyCarrot · 29/10/2019 20:58

Remainer here. Labour voter, but I'll probably vote LibDem, they are usually in second place behind the Tory majority here. We are a safe seat so it's going to be hard.

RedRec · 29/10/2019 21:04

Remainer. Lib Dem.
Might have been Labour if it wasn't for weasel Corbyn.

Nyx · 29/10/2019 21:06

SNP. Bring on indyref 2. Scottish independence is nothing like Brexit, in fact the way things are going i see it as the lifeboat Scotland will need when Britain strikes the Brexit iceberg.

ArabellaDoreenFig · 29/10/2019 21:09

The biggest issue for me is women’s rights and as such I will be voting Tory.

OddBoots · 29/10/2019 21:10

Lib Dem

Unless Labour expressly promise a referendum with remain as an option.

Neither party is perfect but if we waited for a perfect party we'd not actually vote.

TatianaLarina · 29/10/2019 21:10

The biggest issue for me is women’s rights and as such I will be voting Tory.

🤣 It’s good have some light relief.

Lookingsparkly · 29/10/2019 21:11

Remainer. Labour. Because my labour MP is very good. People really should remember that you vote for an MP. NOT for the leader of the party.....

Sakura7 · 29/10/2019 21:12

The biggest issue for me is women’s rights and as such I will be voting Tory.

You think the Tories give a crap about women's rights?

TatianaLarina · 29/10/2019 21:14

People really should remember that you vote for an MP. NOT for the leader of the party.....

You vote for both and a Brexit stance.

ArabellaDoreenFig · 29/10/2019 21:17

Labour and Lib Dem and Green all think that a woman is anyone who wishes to identify as one - in which case women’s sex based rights mean nothing.

If you think my statement was funny please and go and look at the feminism board- I wish it was funny, it’s far from it.

Ihatemyseleffordoingthis · 29/10/2019 21:18

PMSL at Tories as the champion of women's rights

TheElementsSong · 29/10/2019 21:19

all think that a woman is anyone who wishes to identify as one

And also the Tories, seeing as all this Self-ID shite is happening now under a Tory government.

ArabellaDoreenFig · 29/10/2019 21:23

Like I said go look on the feminism board, it may well change your mind.

Ihatemyseleffordoingthis · 29/10/2019 21:28

And yet, @Arabella the Tory ideological austerity regime has decimated more women's services the the GRA reform ever possibly will; whilst its impact also hit poor and vulnerable women harder than any other section of society.
