You are more than welcome here Bellini, we disagree on a lot and often have edgy robust dialogue, but you are rarely insulting if at all. What I like about you is (now that you have dropped your one man NI sea border campaign ) is your spirit of compromise, and willingness to hear and take on board the other side, despite disagreeing.

Bellini - I've clashed with you a few times over previous threads & I've been as robust with my responses to you as you have to me

We've disagreed on several things, but agreed on others - this is normal & is perfectly welcome as far as I'm concerned

You & Bear & a very small handful of others from the 'other camp' are regulars though & not bitch ploppers who are only here to be wilfully nasty, trolly or abusive

I'm plenty insulting but given that tbe sea border idea is getting an airing , not much point in me doing more than wait and see on that one.
I don't support a people's vote. I despise Corbyn. I think this is a "national interest " issue not a party political one.
Reluctantly I accept that it is in the national interest that we leave.

And to be fair to you, you have somehow single handedly changed the entire geographical policy on Brexit, with your VERY persistent sea border campaign. So I should at least give you props for that.

My priority at the moment is getting the first stage of Brexit done by formally leaving & entering the future- arrangements negotiation stage

Even if the future relationship was EEA/EFTA/FTA I'd be ok, although I'd ideally prefer a more tailored version of that (ie not the EEA as such, but a version thereof)

By getting past this first hurdle, the 2nd ref boil is lanced & minds are focused on future instead of past

I hope we have a GE with Labour eviscerated so that Jezza & co are culled & replaced but I've an awful feeling it'll be a hung Parliament again... 😩

Right. Going forward, my new policy is to complete ignore the shitposters. It’s not worth engaging with them. They are just nasty people.

If people come in, in the spirit of ‘genuine’ () dialogue, then fine. But if it’s just yet more insults, pedantry and shouty repetitive questions that were addressed by leavers many times 3 years ago, then I’m not interested.

Think we cross posted there! Lol. A grey rock policy is what we need. I love robust dialogue, I wouldn’t be here otherwise, but there is a huge difference between thoughtful, measured posters from both sides, and goady “bitchploppers” as @DustyDiamond so well described them.

@time4chocolate it might be worth adding that policy to future first posts on new Arms threads?

I often ignore the shit-posters Epic - sometimes I bite back, but mostly I try to ignore
It's the same few people over & over again & then occasionally someone new pops up

Their meme-game & trollery-skillz are sadly sub par though, which I think irritates me more than the actual content.
