Personally I'd prefer to be in the EU with a veto on an EU army than outside the EU, with it's own army, sworn to protect its members, and having territorial disputes with two of those members.

Not that there will be an EU army in the first place anyway.

France is a sovereign nation. If it introduces (reintroduces?) conscription that doesn’t mean we, Germany, Spain etc have to as well.

You will be out. Boris will not allow anything else and to be fair the EU have given britain every chance that was legal snd positive for all to stay in. It will be a sad day for britain and us in Ireland. I dont specifically want a united Ireland myself but I think it willbe where we may be heading in the distant future but I do forsee independance for Scotland in my lifetime certainly. Its definitely the breakup of the UK either way. Very scary and very sad.
