Check your Sparks card offers. I had £1 off the stag shortbread tin, bringing it down to £4. Bargain!

BlackeyedGruesome · 19/09/2019 21:43

Thank you. I am lumpy but not dangerously so.

I do have a case of Brexit toe though, as previously described by OYBBK. Tin met toe just where nail meets toe.

NoWordForFluffy · 19/09/2019 22:08

That's good news! Flowers How do you feel?

Brexit toe is not good. I hope you aren't permanently dented!

yolofish · 19/09/2019 22:43

That's good news gruesome yay! My Brexit toe was caused by dropping a log on it while sorting out woodshed in the summer - still got the scar, hope the tin wasn't too dented Grin

yolofish · 19/09/2019 22:59

eh what darkclouds? what are you trying to say? because it's gone over my head...

BlackeyedGruesome · 19/09/2019 23:14

Meh whatever! Ignore if they can't communicate clearly.

I have run out of fusilli. At least fusilli I can find. Tomorrow I can get back on track with thinking about ordinary life without the big worry.

yolofish · 19/09/2019 23:21

we need fusilli too.... fight you for it?!

MarshmallowManiac · 20/09/2019 00:22

Great news Blackeyed Flowers, just knew you would be ok had a really good feeling Smile

BercowsFlyingFlamingo · 20/09/2019 01:18

@BlackeyedGruesome that's fab news!

NoWordForFluffy · 20/09/2019 05:36

All I can see is more distance between people and damage being done. Not only are they talking in riddles, it's also total and utter bollocks too. Fuckwit extraordinaire!

More dehydration excitement ConfusedHmmas dh made a delicious but sweetcorn heavy risotto a few days ago. A big bag of frozen sweetcorn turned into two jars of dehydrated beauty that are shelf stable.

Very glad to hear your update blackeyed
Sorry about your toe though. I broke my left big toe a few weeks ago.
Not nice.
And currently my achilles tendon is hanging on by a thread! 😬😫
I've been busy spending money (again).
Another powerbank.
More 1st aid stuff.
Collapsible collander I know, I know, I just want one!
More bars of soap.
It's ds2s b day next week so spendy few days coming up.

BlackeyedGruesome · 20/09/2019 10:39

Just topping up on the shopping. That there poster about food shortages, "get ready for shortages of fresh food and increases prices" is a led by donkeys one.

I now have fake cocopops, fake Cheerios a small supply of fusilli and more tinned veg and dried fruit. Aldi also have fruit plants for sale. Three raspberries have been added to the plants for the church garden.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 20/09/2019 10:46

Great news very pleased for you blackeyed! (The boobs, not the toe!)

ifonly4 · 20/09/2019 11:07

Is there anything that I can store in the shed? Just thinking of freezing temperatures and what wouldn't get ruined.

BlackeyedGruesome · 20/09/2019 11:12

Shed: washing powder, antibac, cleaning supplies, soaps etc, loo roll if you don't have mice. Compost and gardening supplies, charcoal and barbeque. Use the space indoors for food.

BlackeyedGruesome · 20/09/2019 11:19

Does anyone else have a lot of Brexit posters near them?

bellinisurge · 20/09/2019 11:20

I have Tommy Robinson stickers near me. No Brexit posters yet.

CrunchyCarrot · 20/09/2019 11:43

So glad you had good news Blackeyed, sorry about your toe! Raspberries are a wonderful addition to the garden, our 3 canes (over six feet tall at this time of year) are churning out masses of berries (this fine dry weather is a bonus).

CrunchyCarrot · 20/09/2019 11:53

@bellinisurge that looks amazing! Do you simply add water to reconstitute? Are they as good as if you'd never dehydrated?
