Westminstenders: Brace Yourself It's Gonna BeBoris

It seems inconceivable that Hunt can beat Johnson. And whilst we are all considering the horrors that Prime Johnson can bring...

Let's not forget Brexit, whats Brexit?

Already there is talk that Boris has gone soft on 31st Oct as an absolute. But he's also promised the earth to the ERG.

So what suits Boris best?

What does his ego demand?

What does Boris want his legacy to be?

Our fate rests on Boris's whims and personal desires.

And if you are Scottish, Muslim or otherwise not rich, white and male you might have reason to be concerned.

He's still the worst Prime Minister this country has ever seen.

I think TM hods that the title.

DC was a spineless wonder but he didn’t promise the unicorns that TM did.

He didn’t spend 3 years promising the impossible.

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 19:30

Unfair

Cameron ran away when he realised the disaster he has caused

May just tried to repair the damage, not very well, but she didn't cause this shitstorm

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 19:32

Anyway, it will soon be moot:

As soon as BJ has been PM for a few months - maybe weeks - we'll all agree who is the worst ever PM

CaveMum · 21/06/2019 19:34

Just seen this on Twitter, apologies if already posted: amp.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/21/police-called-to-loud-altercation-at-boris-johnsons-home?CMP=share_btn_tw&__twitter_impression=true

So Boris and his partner are verbally abusing each other enough to cause the neighbours to call the police and then the police try to say nothing happened before presented with the evidence...

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 19:34

Confirmation that unicorns still don't exist:

EU Commission president Juncker after EUCO today: "

We repeated unanimously that there will be no renegotiation of the Withdrawal Agreement."

Bearbehind · 21/06/2019 19:35

It’s not unfair - she was the one who promised ‘no deal was better than a bad deal’ and ‘Brexit means Brexit’ and that we could have our cake and eat it,

If she’d been honest about the shit storm she’d been left with we wouldn’t be in this mess now.

Instead she was arrogant enough to think that she could run with her vision, without consultation with anyone else. That she could create her own red lines and the EU would crumble.

This mess has been made a million times worse by her actions.

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 19:38

Not an embarassment I had thought of until now

So BJ could be the first PM to have the cops called to no 10 by neighbours - by the Chancellor at no 11 / civil servants ?

RedToothBrush · 21/06/2019 19:38

A neighbour told the Guardian they heard a woman screaming followed by “slamming and banging”. At one point Symonds could be heard telling Johnson to “get off me” and “get out of my flat”.

Our Future PM

Maybe Javid won't want to be chancellor after all. I mean who'd like neighbours like that?

It’s totally fair. No question that May is the worse of the two.

May made precisely the wrong choice at every turn. She chose hard Brexit, she chose division, she refused to consult parliament, she refused to listen, she refused to compromise. She negotiated a deal that she could not get through Parliament.

As Matthew Parris summarised: ‘she is mean she is rude she is cruel she is stupid.’

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 19:48

No, she made irretrievable mistake early on, when she didn't know enough

BUT she'd have been fine as a PM with only the usual issues to handle

However, even a cross between Churchill, Ernest Bevin, Harold Wilson, Blair and Lloyd George wouldn't have had the skills & cunning to rescue us from the Brexit mess Cameron left behind

Classic example of the saying that any idiot can create a problem that even a genius can't fix
(and we have no political geniuses atm)

CaveMum · 21/06/2019 19:48

Channel 4 have just picked up the Guardian story.

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 19:52

BJ reaches ever new lows

Let's not waste time debating who will soon become the 2nd worst PM

1tisILeClerc · 21/06/2019 19:52

{Maybe Javid won't want to be chancellor after all. I mean who'd like neighbours like that?}

You could televise it and call it 'neighbours from hell' perhaps.

Violetparis · 21/06/2019 19:52

Wonder if the audio of the incident with Boris Johnson will be leaked.

hopefulhalf · 21/06/2019 19:54

Oh my domestic abuse, shouldn't be surprised really. Is this what makes Jeremy Hunt PM ?

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 19:56

Expect the Sun to soon be splashing the BJ story - too juicy for them to miss

Tom Newton Dunn@tnewtondunn

Guardian reporting this tonight, a rather dramatic development in the fringes of the Tory leadership contest.

Boris spokesman says: "No comment".

Which is not, at all, a denial.

www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/21/police-called-to-loud-altercation-at-boris-johnsons-home

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 19:56

Might even increase BJ's votes ?

jasjas1973 · 21/06/2019 19:57

However, even a cross between Churchill, Ernest Bevin, Harold Wilson, Blair and Lloyd George wouldn't have had the skills & cunning to rescue us from the Brexit mess Cameron left behind

Any one of those would have lead the country and said A50 wont be revoked, the referendum was advisory, Cameron was wrong, we are staying in the EU and ridden out the shitstorm, until the then GE in 2020.

May and Cameron should be put on trial for what they've done to the UK.

Peregrina · 21/06/2019 19:58

neighbour told the Guardian they heard a woman screaming followed by “slamming and banging”. At one point Symonds could be heard telling Johnson to “get off me” and “get out of my flat”.

A put up job so that regretfully he has to withdraw?

Violetparis · 21/06/2019 20:01

It's the leading story on the Daily Mail website now.

hopefulhalf · 21/06/2019 20:03

As well as all his other faults that man is a coward.

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/06/2019 20:05

Looks like the pressure mighht be getting to BJ.

According to the Mail, police were called to the Johnson love-nest last night

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7168315/Police-called-flat-Boris-Johnson-shares-Carrie-Symonds.html

BoreOfWhabylon · 21/06/2019 20:05

oops, x posted with lots of others!

BigChocFrenzy · 21/06/2019 20:06

As PM, he would have a police bodyguard 24/7

I presume they would intervene if domestic disputes went physical
