Westminstenders: Brace Yourself It's Gonna BeBoris

It seems inconceivable that Hunt can beat Johnson. And whilst we are all considering the horrors that Prime Johnson can bring...

Let's not forget Brexit, whats Brexit?

Already there is talk that Boris has gone soft on 31st Oct as an absolute. But he's also promised the earth to the ERG.

So what suits Boris best?

What does his ego demand?

What does Boris want his legacy to be?

Our fate rests on Boris's whims and personal desires.

And if you are Scottish, Muslim or otherwise not rich, white and male you might have reason to be concerned.

Think it would be tough on the children if she did.

JoannaCuppa · 22/06/2019 21:55

I think Marina Wheeler has far too much class to air her dirty laundry in public. She is a barrister. Her job depends on professionalism and discretion. She would gain absolutely nothing by speaking out against Boris. If the papers are to be believed, Boris has information regarding her private life that she wouldn't want out there either.

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 21:55

If she gave a shit about the kids, she wouldn't be sleeping with their dad while he's still married

However, they are all young adults, youngest 20
As to his other kids - no idea

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 21:56

Sorry, meant to say that current gf might sell her story

howabout · 22/06/2019 22:01

Lawyers for Britain and Labour Leave agree with GATT 24 link above - just saying.

Boris' children from his marriage are all grown up ergo no child maintenance and his wife has a career in her own right and is from an equivalent background. Grin The Johnsons have a family "compound" as explained by Rachel in the Lifestyle section of the Times the other week - he is not "cocklodging" Grin. AFAIK the hustings fees come from campaign donations not personal stakes.

Interesting fantasies on how the upper middle classes organise their affairs on here sometimes.

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 22:09

"Lawyers for Britain and Labour Leave agree with GATT 24 link above"

Still wrong, debunked by several experts in the field, including some non-doctrinaire Leavers and independents

Doesn't sound like either of the above groups specialise in international trade law

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 22:14

"Interesting fantasies on how the upper middle classes organise their affairs on here sometimes"

We've heard more than we want about BJ's affaires ! Grin

We plebs also assume BJ leaves skid marks for others to clean

Always happy to hear from posh Leavers or Remainers, how the ruling class really live

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 22:18

btw, have BJ and Hunt each received 125k in donations already ?

From whom and why - I hope the normal electoral rule of declaring the names above £500 applies

(Wouldn't it be interesting if a PM had to be investigated for expenses fraud
Would they suspend themselves while this was going on ?)

Which brexist is your favourite then howabout

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 22:38

Yep, I'd be interested to know too, howabout

As you keep referring to GATT A24 and are reluctant to accept it has been thoroughly debunked, are you a Lexiter No Dealer ?

Why not JC's CU Lexit ?

Basilpots · 22/06/2019 22:41

Had no idea I had to declare my political leanings when reporting a crime to the police thank you Telegraph for bringing that to my attention Hmm

Mistigri · 22/06/2019 22:41

Lawyers for Britain and Labour Leave agree with GATT 24 link above - just saying.

Why are you "just saying"? Because you are too lazy or intellectually incurious to go and find out what people with actual expertise think? Talk about a nasty case of confirmation bias.

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 22:42

woman Both Tory candidates have made Islamophobic comments
Horrible choice Sad

Mistigri · 22/06/2019 22:46

Those front pages are a turn up for the books.

woman19 · 22/06/2019 22:49

I do wonder whether BJ is going to fuck it up for himself (apologies, he's making me feel very sweary today) His performance this afternoon was a shambles, he looked a mess, he shamelessly dodged questions, he was even more 'bluster and no substance' than usual. His private life must be a mess with the divorce costing a fortune, lodging in Carrie's flat and falling out with her as well.

I definitely get the sense that if JH just stays calm and steady, and gives Boris enough rope...

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 22:59

Just one example of tariffs and of businesses hit / baffled by them

Faisal Islam*@faisalislam*

"Given UK exports account for a small portion of EU total consumption, then they would become immediately uncompetitive" -
@dairyuk re No Deal WTO tariffs on U.K. Exports.

Suggestion of 51% inc in U.K. Cheddar prices based on full WTO import tariffs - which Govt said won't apply
....

Tim Harrapp@BritishCheese Replying to @faisalislam*

And these are empty export order filing trays and clip boards for orders of British Cheddar March 29th this year.

No idea on what basis we could export -not only tariffs but documents too.

BigChocFrenzy · 22/06/2019 23:05

Mail on Sunday poll shows scandal is having some effect, but not yet enough to let in Hunt

Let's see what BJ's next mishap does

Westminstenders: Brace Yourself It's Gonna BeBoris
Tanith · 22/06/2019 23:08

Johnson is there to ensure that no-one looks too deeply into Hunt's past record and spoils the party.
So far, he's doing a good job.

TokyoSushi · 22/06/2019 23:09

And we all know that there will be a next mishap @BigChocFrenzy I feel like there may still be hope!
