Christ. That is scary. The GFA is screwed. The Uk is screwed. Hopefully, the UK won't take us (Ireland) down with it as no deal is very bad for us. That said, we have been doing an awful lot of prep.

I guess the only hope is BJ remains true to form and doesn't follow through with any of his promises.

There will be no anointing. AFN saying 1922 arm twisting to stop candidates withdrawing because membership and country want hustings and debate.

Suspect there may be some Boris supporters who don't back him in second round to come up with a preferred alternate for the membership vote.

Stewart will get airtime this week. This ISN'T a bad thing. Even if he is Rory the Tory.

Otherwise we are doomed.

As a side note, Good Omens on Amazon Prime is fabulous and is all about the end of the world and I highly recommend as a fun dystopian vision where the Anti-Christ is from middle class Oxfordshire and thats where Armageddon starts. Considering it was written in 1990 there are some almost prophetic feeling parallels there! (Its also going to be on the BBC later this year).

I'm still laughing at one of the papers describing Graham Brady as Prince Andrew lookalike. Must have been the best day for Graham Brady. For Prince Andrew not so much.

Also watching Good Omens. I can't get that worked up about Johnson as PM - he is a known (shit) quantity and I am looking forward to him squirming in the Big Chair. It does not change Parliamentary arithmetic. If May could not get the WA through, I am struggling to see him do it too. The real question is what happens instead.

Currently rebuilding stockpile and looking at Plan B..

I will start on the stockpiling if I ever finally move (don't ask). I'm only just getting to the end of what I saved last time which I started to run down in mid Feb and I've decided I'm going to completely change the way I shop as a result. Supermarket runs have been blissful lately!

De lurking the only reason BoJo is getting the numbers is not they think he's the best person to be PM but because the ERG and fellow ultra right wing loons know he is weak and has no clue how to do the job so will be easy to manipulate. He will be a de facto PM with the country run by Mogg, Baker and the rest of the hard right.

If you are anything other than wealthy, straight and white you will be royally fucked.
