How on earth does Raab score so highly on human and LGBT rights when he's so anti women and wanted to repeal the Human Rights Act?!!!

I don't like McVey but she's getting a hard time for being marked significantly lower than Raab.

appreciate that Howabout, in fairness she's usually pretty clear tbh agree with her or not.

RedToothBrush · 13/06/2019 12:24

Sebastian Payne @SebastianePayne
There's speculation abound that Theresa May has backed Jeremy Hunt in the first round of voting - or the "Runt" ticket of Rudd/Hunt ticket as some senior Tories are describing it.

Downing Street sources add that "nobody, but nobody knows who the PM voted for" today.

What about Gove?

LouiseCollins28 · 13/06/2019 12:26

wheresmymojo · 13/06/2019 12:28

I was also going to ask for Gove's Grin

wheresmymojo · 13/06/2019 12:32

"Esther McVey's super power: Looking like an ordinary person" Grin

ThereWillBeAdequateFood · 13/06/2019 12:35

How did I miss Gove

WhatWouldScoobyDoo · 13/06/2019 12:38

Grin thanks for those!

RedToothBrush · 13/06/2019 12:38

How does Gove only get 4 for recreational drug use?!

Mother remember when we used to not be able to imagine Trump as president?

RedToothBrush · 13/06/2019 12:48

mutters under breathe about inaccurancy of those otherrwise cool cards

15 mins until we know the result of the really important Brexit Vote.

Woooo.

It looks like Rory thinks hes only going to scrape through:

Matt Dathan @matt_dathan
Rory Stewart's team are on a desparate hunt for Ken Clarke, who hasn't turned up to vote yet. He doesn't own a mobile phone either. 23 minutes to go until polling closes. Rory says he'll blame Ken if he loses by one!

Ken has since been located and escorted to vote.

Beats Dinosaur Top Trumps Grin or maybe there's scope for a cross over event Grin

RedToothBrush · 13/06/2019 12:50

Beth Rigby@bethrigby
NEW: Ballot closed and I’m told by sources on ‘22 that it was decided to disallowed phones in room because of an aggressive whipping operation from Team Johnson. Told had been instructed to take photo of their ballot paper to prove they’d backed Johnson.

So suggestions of voter intimidation...

So suggestions of voter intimidation...
Who is surprised?

howabout · 13/06/2019 12:55

In other news:

Brexitcast is taking over the This Week slot. Andrew Neil certainly knows how to nurture his proteges.

RedToothBrush · 13/06/2019 12:56

The BBC is now spoiling us with highlights of previous tory leadership elections.

OP posts:
prettybird · 13/06/2019 12:58

That's an indication of the ethos of a government under Johnson Sad

Dh has also just pointed out, not just his fear of BoJo as a PM - but the people he would choose to be in Cabinet Shock

....Evans, Francois, IDS, Deadwood, Braverman, Baker..... Shock

JRM we both agreed would refuse to go into Cabinet: much easier for him to snipe from the snidelines without taking any responsibility for actually delivering (after all, he has already acknowledged that it would take c50 years for the economy to recover Hmm,) Angry

RedToothBrush · 13/06/2019 12:58

Lewis Goodall @lewis_goodall
I suspect one of the big themes of the next few months, especially if Johnson or other senior Brexiter wins, will be a purge of the machine, all senior officials associated with May's Brexit strategy will be gone. Civil servants easy scapegoat for political masters' failings.

This.

Tim Montgomerie on rumoured TM endorsement of Runt ticket:

"Poor Jeremy Hunt. He doesn’t deserve this."

wheresmymojo · 13/06/2019 12:58

Switching over from a programme about serial killers to coverage of the leadership election.

Spot the difference Hmm

wheresmymojo · 13/06/2019 13:01

Oh shite...I hadn't even got that far with my thinking. I'm going to Canada in a few weeks, I may not come back. Would this be reason enough to apply for refugee status?
