Everything about Brexit seems to have been done wrongly.

Setting red lines to rule out a compromise

The attempt to use executive power to trigger A50, that resulted in a court case

Triggering A50 before knowing what the UK wanted

Agreeing to the backstop before any Tory MP understood the GFA

Appointing a Brexit minister before checking he understood where Dover was.

May going on about NI and pissing off the DUP before they were just about to climb down.

Having a Meaningless Vote repeatedly with a gun to head.

Contempt of Parliament and just general fucking up.

Tonight, 3 days before we were due to leave the HoC finally sat down to decide what Brexit outcomes they thought would be a good idea - more than 2years after that should have happened.

And we now we are told the meaningful vote might be may even more meaningless by being wrapped up in the illusive Withdrawal Agreement Implimentation Bill.

Farce doesn't even cover it.

Anyway Indicative Vote results incoming in approx 15 mins.

Beckett will pass, Bercow will stand firm to no #3 round on TM deal. Chaos ensues. Feels funny being on-off-on these threads for almost 3 years...I'm sure that will round up to half a decade when all is said and done. Still no idea what's going on

House going slowly. Survey has thrown up a few issues, but DH completely freaked out about it and had to be talked down off the ceiling. Nothing that's not solvable. But just likely to delay things which is exactly what I didn't want.

DS is drinking still. He's had fruit smoothie after much effort tonight. Which is making me feel mildly less worried.

Honestly, I don't think the DUP will budge on this one without changes to the WA they aren't going to get. Tey know if they do May will be gone and any offers of money will fizzle out with her. And of course Mogg and Johnson said they would only support if the DUP did so May's new found support is crumbling already.

What was that vote for? I can't keep up at all.
