The immigrants are let in with no fucking checks on who or what they are. I'm the sort of person who would take in a refugee, but I'm telling you what victims of serious crimes believe. You can't understand it. If it was an English neighbour, you could say to yourself, oh, he was just a bad bastard, he came from a good family etc. - if every black man with a beard makes you into a quivering wreck, then you wonder have we become too multicultural before we were ready for it.

I AM a victim of serious crime. Something v similar to you by the sound of it. You have not described what I feel at all.

Terrorists. Rapists. Murderers. Domestic abusers. Do you know what the vast majority of these criminals have in common? Their sex. Not their skin colour, not their religion, not their socio economic status. Their sex.

I'm very sorry for what happened to you but I think your anger is misdirected. How could anyone have known a 16 year old refugee boy would go on to do that? How could anyone have known that the 16 year old white school boy who attacked me and is the reason I still suffer PTSD 14 years later would go on to do what he did?

I was attacked by a white working class skinhead male. Should I have voted leave so no more white working class skinheads would be allowed? Seems as relevant and logical as what bot did.

Immigration of economic migrants from, eg, Poland you may or may not have considered to be an issue when you voted, and that would be logical, even though they are net contributors to the economy overall. Voting leave so we would not have to accept refugees from Somalia is a completely ridiculous error.

I genuinely don't think it's the EU they wanted to leave - I KNOW - it's the freedom of movement they wanted to leave.

You don't know though, unless you have spoken to every one of them.

The EU didn't impose immigration law on the UK. The UK could have introduced more vigourous controls, as other EU countries have done, but chose not to for some reason. Maybe so they could blame it all on the big bad EU.

Anyway all that's happened is that you've replaced Polish and Spanish immigrants with Somalian and Indian ones. A leave vote has not stopped immigration.
