If there is a GE - who would you vote for?

Surely the end result in our political shambles will be a GE?

I have absolutely no sodding idea at all, I've always been a bit of a floating voter. Previously labour, lib dem and green .

As far as I can tell - no party is stating that sex segregated spaces are to be protected?

The first party to state that women and trans women have different and conflicting needs can have my vote. They don't even need to solve the problem, just acknowledge that there is one.

bellinisurge

Never voted for UKIP before but I will if we don’t get brexit.
I’d also vote for Corbyn if he got rid of the appalling Diane Abbott.

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 16:15

UKIP are racist loving scum. I didn't say it before but now they have Robinson on board it's clear.
Abbott is only a symptom of Corbyn 's shit ness.

Flobochin · 14/03/2019 16:21

I'd want to vote for which ever party got us out of Europe.

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 16:23

If that includes supporting the EDL via UKIP you should be ashamed of yourself. The Tories support Brexit. As do half of Labour including their leader. Lots to choose from that aren't scum.

teyem · 14/03/2019 16:24

I think we will have to brace for more seats going to the likes of ukip at the next general election. It will be an easy outlet for disgruntled leave voters.

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 16:25

Anyone who votes for EDL loving scum can't expect any respect.

teyem · 14/03/2019 16:28

Respect is neither here nor there though, is it. It's a vote, the same as yours and mine but it comes at the same time people who would situate themselves in the centre find themselves politically homeless and are intending not to vote at all.

It's a worry.

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 16:31

I was being polite. Anyone who votes for openly EDL loving UKIP deserves as much bad shit as comes their way.

PoohBearsHole · 14/03/2019 16:33

Genuinely have no idea!
Frankly the party who will ensure that we get the same broadband as our neighbours 😂 govt funding didn’t allow an extra 1/4 of a mile so they didn’t bother 🤬

I’m literally that pissed off at the state of the country that that would probably swing it for me! But promises from any elected govt proceed like rocking horses poop so......

It’s all a bunch of shit and I may well just go with our Monster Raving Loony party candidate as incredibly some of his ideas now seem sensible.

In all seriousness, there isn’t a single party or MP that currently would get my vote. It’s an incredibly apathetic electorate in my house!

teyem · 14/03/2019 16:36

I share your sentiment bellin but I'm just laying out my biggest concern.

Flobochin · 14/03/2019 16:37

@bellinisurge I trust that's not directed at me?

Cackleweb · 14/03/2019 16:40

UKIP would struggle to put up enough credible candidates, very few could withstand the scrunity that would follow. If they were daft enough to put forward Tommy Robinson the rest of the parties in that seat would unite against him and agree to put forward only one candidate and appeal to their supporters to vote for that candidate.

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 16:40

It's directed at anyone who thinks UKIP is a reasonable option.

I voted Remain. I despise Corbyn. I support WA because it's the least worst version of Leave.

teyem · 14/03/2019 16:48

I voted Remain. I despise Corbyn. I support WA because it's the least worst version of Leave.

I think we fell down the same decision tree Grin

Flobochin · 14/03/2019 17:02

@bellinisurge your tone is not very pleasant.

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 17:03

The EDL aren't pleasant. They don't deserve courtesy.

upsideyerelephant · 14/03/2019 17:03

@Flobochin @bellinisurge

Belli is right though

Flobochin · 14/03/2019 17:17

@upsideyerelephant Rudeness devalues any comment

wasabiaddiction · 14/03/2019 17:18

Conservative.

Anything that will realistically stop Corbyn who would be a disaster.

upsideyerelephant · 14/03/2019 17:33

It's not rude, it's correct.

Have you witnessed an EDL rally?

ShadyLady53 · 14/03/2019 17:40

God, I could cry because of the people on here saying they’d vote for UKIP/EDL. I’m mixed race, born here. Those people would happily murder me and half my family or deport me to a country I know nothing of. Never been so saddened by Mumsnet.

FriendOrFaux · 14/03/2019 17:44

Don't forget, we don't vote for a party, we vote for a candidate.

As lots of people said when MPs left the Labour/Cons party, hence no need for a by-election.

Flobochin · 14/03/2019 17:50

@upsideyerelephant we will just have to disagree on what is rude and what is not.

Batsypatsy · 14/03/2019 17:53

Labour because the Tories are running the country into the ground.

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 17:53

I'm not going to normalise those EDL bastards and you shouldn't either.
