If there is a GE - who would you vote for?

Surely the end result in our political shambles will be a GE?

I have absolutely no sodding idea at all, I've always been a bit of a floating voter. Previously labour, lib dem and green .

As far as I can tell - no party is stating that sex segregated spaces are to be protected?

The first party to state that women and trans women have different and conflicting needs can have my vote. They don't even need to solve the problem, just acknowledge that there is one.

Labour. I'm a JC supporter

havingtochangeusernameagain · 14/03/2019 09:22

I'd vote Libdem but I live in an incredibly safe Tory seat (and my MP voted for no deal, BTW) so my vote is wasted.

reallybadidea · 14/03/2019 09:25

I would spoil my vote in protest at the absolute ineptitude and incompetence of all the political parties at the moment. I would be absolutely furious if there was another general election at this point.

Gruzinkerbell1 · 14/03/2019 09:26

Not Labour. Corbyn has destroyed the Labour Party.

wafflyversatile · 14/03/2019 09:33

I'd vote Labour and hope to wave goodbye to chukka as my mp.

teyem · 14/03/2019 09:36

I couldn't vote for Labour now. I've voted them my whole life but the party is a complete fucking shambles thanks to Corbyn.

WeeMadArthur · 14/03/2019 09:39

I have to echo the first response, for the first time in my life it’s a ‘fuck knows’. The last few years has really been an eye opener to how self serving they all really are. I’m stumped.

Pantah630 · 14/03/2019 09:40

Spoilt ballot here, I'd encourage all the recently political homeless to do the same. It may give them all a wake up call. One can live in hope

SpeedyBojangles · 14/03/2019 09:41

Fuck knows. Probably labour but I really dislike Corbyn.

purplecat27 · 14/03/2019 11:17

Surely if a GE is called around this whole Brexit mess it will be won and lost solely on the parties Brexit policies...
This is the biggest issue affecting our country, I'll be voting for the party that is most likely to deal with Brexit the way the I'd like to see it done, regardless of how I've voted in the past (or their policies on trans women...)

brizzlemint · 14/03/2019 11:23

God only knows, the greens are out as I refuse to be a non-man.thry can duck right off with that nonsense.

NuffingChora · 14/03/2019 11:38

I’m in the unusual position of being in a Lib Dem safe seat. I’m generally a policy-based, fairly centrist floating voter, and have voted Lib Dem before, with a very occasional dalliance in to Labour, and once even the SNP. No idea who I’d vote for this time - by nature of where I live, probably Lib Dem again, but would consider TIG if there’s a candidate and I like their policies. Will never vote conservative, and as long as Corbyn is leader never Labour (though I have time for Cooper/Starmer/Lammy/Grieve/Phillips, even Watson... and if one of their ilk were to miraculously become leader I’d be interested). It’s weird being pretty moderate and centrist and not really feeling like I have either a voice or a real representation in parliament.

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 11:40

Never Tory. Not Corbyn Labour. Green is probably my only likely. But I will probably spoil my paper.

Nat6999 · 14/03/2019 11:43

Labour, live in a Labour stronghold, have a very hard working MP who has done so much for our area.

AnagramBixter · 14/03/2019 11:47

Brexit party/UKIP

bellinisurge · 14/03/2019 11:48

UKIP is now EDL. Nice.

CoffeeRunner · 14/03/2019 11:49

It doesn’t really matter because I live in an area where you could stick a Tory rosette on a cabbage & still see it elected - but - probably Labour.

We have very little choice usually. Only Conservative, Labour or Lib Dem. Are the Lib Dem’s even still going?

mantlepiece · 14/03/2019 11:50

Labour for definite.

MyAuntyBadger · 14/03/2019 11:59

For the first time, I don't know. Definitely not Labour though.

emotionalaffair · 14/03/2019 12:06

Anyone but the Tories, Labour, SNP, Greens or LDs.

Hidingtonothing · 14/03/2019 12:12

Much as it would pain me to not use my vote I honestly don't think I could bring myself to vote for any of them.

alwaysncxx · 14/03/2019 12:21

I feel the Labour Party are out of touch these days under Corbyn, but then again I could never vote for May and her shit show of a party.

I don't see the point in voting for Green or Lib Dem as it's just a wasted vote and will just help the Tories to win again.

GregoryPeckingDuck · 14/03/2019 12:21

I would begrudgingly vote Tory as usual purely because all the other opinions are unimaginably shit.

upsideyerelephant · 14/03/2019 12:22

The Tories will win.

We'll get the government we deserve.

NHS will be sold to US insurance companies, remaining Sure Start centres will close, schools will be cut further with more asset-stripping from academies, food standards will plumit as demanded by Trump but taxes will be low so non of the matters, obviously.

GregoryPeckingDuck · 14/03/2019 12:23

For all of you refusing to vote labour because of Jeremy and opting for greens instead do you actually know anything about the British greens? They’re bonkers. Not like most green parties.
