Not because I'm keeping a list of who has food for when the shit hits the fan... Just because I'm a nosy bitch.

Here's mine - I started adding to it a few weeks ago. It's only me and almost 5yo DS I really have to worry about so I feel its almost there.

I've replaced the Brexit Jaffa Cakes today. And the Brexit Frosties. Just to got to work out where the hell to store them. Managed to get 3 Brexit double chocolate magnums in the freezer earlier but I may have to test one in a bit because the sun is shining. I now have enough pet food for about a year Blush Luckily I get a different Ocado driver each time so they haven't sussed what I'm up to Grin

bellinisurge · 22/02/2019 16:03

My dh sent me on a mission to find a particular item in our stash. Which I did. But I also found some Aldi chocolate-y loveliness from our Christmas stash that didn't get used up. With a shelf life until March or April or May this year. I see it as my patriotic duty to comfort eat my way through the next couple of months. Grin

SparklySneakers · 22/02/2019 17:48

Maybe our brexit treats need a test drive...

FriarTuck · 22/02/2019 18:08

I'm glad I did test my Brexit magnums because it wasn't as good as I'd hoped and therefore I now know that if I need to trade for more baked beans I can use the remaining 2 magnums Grin
Plus you have to know what you can rely on for comfort when Armageddon is 2 roads away and what would actually make you surrender immediately because life doesn't seem worth living. Now my Brexit pasta on the other hand was so good that I had it for lunch and tea - I have enough to last for a very long time!!

SparklySneakers · 22/02/2019 18:48

I did test the M&S pontefract cakes last week. Is not had them before. I liked them. Will buy more. I tested all 3 packets of chocolate raisins. Still not sure about those, think I need to buy and test more Wink

NoWordForFluffy · 22/02/2019 18:54

We're such a restrained bunch, aren't we?

Even my 4 and 5 year olds have been more restrained (they found the stash, but talked about eating it rather than actually doing so...'Mummy, why is there food under your bed?!'

SparklySneakers · 22/02/2019 19:01

Yes my dd2 his presents in my bed drawer yesterday and was astounded by the amount of treats in there. She thought they were just for me to scoff in bed.

HeronLanyon · 22/02/2019 20:27

My raiding Brexit boxes has become a good workout as everything is in good looking storage cubes on top of kitchen cabinets.
Have had to go up and lug boxes down for - baked beans, pain killers, tomato soup, coffee filters etc. I also used one of my chunks of cheddar from freezer. Honestly it’s quite an art having a stash - I am a real beginner.

ChakiraChakra · 22/02/2019 21:40

😂 absolutely LMAO at us all raiding our stashes, I'm just as bad 😂

SpunBodgeSquarepants · 22/02/2019 21:50

Hahaha if I wasn't so find of looking at my stash proudly I would have raided it so far! Got an impressive pile of chocolate biscuits including Gold 🤤

I have not raided my chocolate and wine stash, tonight. Oh no...hic...not me. 😇 😳

IDoN0tCare · 22/02/2019 22:18

I’ve visions of all us preppers sitting around with large muffin tops, while telling those that are complaining about the price of, or lack of, certain goods, “I know. Isn’t it awful?” (I already have the muffin top.😳)

NoWordForFluffy · 22/02/2019 22:27

I don't have a muffin top. Yet. I soon will if I can't leave the bloody stash alone! BlushGrin

mum2jakie · 22/02/2019 22:30

I haven't bought any treats yet - purely as I haven't got any self control either! I've made that mistake before - stocked up on chocs/goodies for Christmas and wolfed them down before December! Blush

IDoN0tCare · 22/02/2019 22:38

mum2jakie, with all my meticulous planning and storage solutions, I didn’t bank on my lack of self control.

SparklySneakers · 22/02/2019 23:04

I have all this and have only had the Pontefract cakes and chocolate raisins so am impressed with my self control Smile

@SparklySneakers Now I've got Treat Stash envy, that is impressive

ArmchairTraveller · 23/02/2019 10:49

I can’t believe that my stashes are full of tasty, useful and practical but no sweets or treats! Major failure I will have to rectify now.

bellinisurge · 23/02/2019 10:59

That's why I always put treats in my 3 day suggestion Grin.

IDoN0tCare · 23/02/2019 11:03

I HATE YOU ALL! Angry

All this talk of eating your stash, made me eat all my low fat popcorn 🍿 (wonders if it’s still low fat if you eat six packets) 🤔 And two chocolate bars.

Oh yes, it’s all YOUR fault. I take no responsibility for it whatsoever. 🤤

FriarTuck · 23/02/2019 11:07

You should see how many cake & cookie mixes I have in my stash! I don't normally make that many cakes, and usually from scratch, but it's as if I think the end of life as we know it is coming & I'm going to need to comfort eat for England.
(My parents on the other hand haven't even bought an extra tin of beans. I told my mum I'll not be feeding her.)

PrawnOfCreation · 23/02/2019 12:38

I don't know what my Mum is doing l, she's not one for an empty cupboard anyway but I bought some stuff with her in mind.

rosie39forever · 23/02/2019 13:26

My mom and dad don't intend to buy any extras, they are both in their 70s and Brexiters, apparently we're going to thrive and be inundated with fish(because we can finally catch our own) and we will have tonnes of seasonal fresh veg because we won't be sending it abroad🤔. Every time I explain the just i time system they say that saint Tereasa would never let us starve and to stop being a remoaner. I think I may be adopted!

Whatthefoxgoingon · 23/02/2019 13:58

My parents are in Italy from mid March onwards, thank goodness. They may never come back though!

bellinisurge · 23/02/2019 14:54

It is so frustrating that some people still see getting a buffer in as an act of betrayal.
