Three of them that I've seen pics of on FB.

Clever advertising.

The newspaper ones are in English newspapers. The billboards are in Dublin.

England are playing Ireland in Dublin today.

They're essentially taking the piss out of England re Brexit.

Lol
Funty

Yeah I thought they were brilliant to be honest. Some of the commentary implying that Ireland should shock horror know it's place has just reinforced the hundreds of years of history between the UK and Ireland.

One of Therese May s biggest challenges has been trying to get some of parliament to realise that actually they don't rule half the world any more including Ireland!

The irony of the situation when you think about it. That Ireland could possibly be the biggest blocker to the UK getting what it wants.

LadyandGent · 02/02/2019 10:31

Ireland is the slave gone rogue lol.

Fucking brilliant. Wish we could put one up on every corner of England where no-one can avoid reading them. Well done Paddy Power!

Yeah... funny. This won’t backfire at all and stirring up tension in NI is always fun Hmm

LadyandGent · 02/02/2019 10:38

They're not in NI. They're in Dublin.

Whisky2014 · 02/02/2019 10:40

Ha i think thats pretty funny. The brittish beef one is good!

Maybe83 · 02/02/2019 10:40

Someone seems to have missed sending a memo about that to the UK government about that.

Suggest you get on it!

LadyandGent · 02/02/2019 10:46

There was one muppet commenting on Facebook about the 'largest English speaking city in the EU' saying Eh, that's London. He hadn't read the small writing that said Post March 29th.

As an aside, COME ON IRELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s absolutely nothing to do with tension in NI. What planet are you on? This is Irish rugby versus English rugby. I’m in NI btw. There has always been “banter” like this when Ireland and England play each other. It’s funny. Both sides take it as meant.

Whisky2014 · 02/02/2019 10:53

Yep come on Ireland!

ILoveMaxiBondi · 02/02/2019 10:55

Let’s hope the English boycott PP for ever.

That’ll shut them up.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 02/02/2019 11:05

😂

Like that will ever happen.

Inniu · 02/02/2019 11:07

Ireland play rugby as an all Ireland team not as Ireland or Republic. In certain circumstances they even use God Save the Queen as the anthem.

Love those ads. Everyone I know was sharing them yesterday.

surferjet · 02/02/2019 11:07

Why not?

Plenty of other bookies.

Butterymuffin · 02/02/2019 11:11

Serves us right. So much rubbish has been written about Ireland causing problems over the border, backstop and so on, when we've caused all the problems by having no Brexit plan! The Irish don't have to do as they're told, to many people's chagrin.

Butterymuffin · 02/02/2019 11:12

PS Come on England! Grin
