Really? I lived in Scotland for 20 years and not once did anybody talk about the unicorn.

Floral I wasn’t talking about the specific importance of the unicorn- I think you've rather missd my point.

But if you lived here for twenty years and never heard mention of the unicorn as the National animal I can only assume you didn’t visit Stirling Castle which is a shame because it’s worth the trip.
