There is at least one Labour-Conservative council coalition to be announced today (I know of the one in West Lothian). I think there are others also due to be announced. Wonder why Scottish Labour held off announcing this until after the general election?

Wrt to Brexit, is the predicted outcome not actually a better outcome than the previous set-up?

That is, with the Tories in a minority govt, there will have to be proper cross Party consensus & more working together rather than just Tories doing it entirely their way, & Labour & SNP just going against everything the Tories do/propose?

Is it probably the best way for the country to come together again & appease both sides of Remain/Leave (hard brexiters & hard remainers will be disappointed, but broad centre ground will be ok with it)?
