Were there any LD supporters who voted Leave?

I am a "natural" Labour supporter and former party member. I supported Labour Leave in the EU Ref and will be voting Conservative for the first time in my life in the GE. I wondered if there were any LD Leavers. I know this might be rare but I wondered if there were any at all. Or is LD Leaver an impossible combination.

Yes.

And next we're going to tell em where they can stick their bloody Eurovision Song Contest too! They've got a bloody cheek not seeing the genius of of British leadership since "Save all your kisses for me" (Brotherhood of Man)

They have. Katrina and the Waves won in 1997.

And that well known European country Australia took part last year (and came second).

1997? Clearly "modern" !!!

It's 20 years more modern than Brotherhood of man. Our entries are almost always rubbish, I don't think we can blame Europe for that!

Actually I do blame Europe. They take it far too seriously. How very unBritish of them.

Have you actually watched Eurovision? Irelands idea of taking it seriously is Dustin the Turkey and 2 x Jedward Grin

Is it possible to get points négatifs? Grin

It has the word Euro in the title so, like all Leavers, I recoil behind my vampire cape.

I wouldn't even be all that amazed if Nigel-look-at-me-look-at-me-LOOKATME-Farage put himself forward as our entry, just so he could have another go at pissing off everyone else. Swaggering around the stage wearing a skidmarked Union Jack, drunkenly burping his way through the second verse of the national anthem, before launching into a self indulgent, tuneless version of My Way. He'd forget the words and just start singing "Fuck you all, Fuck you and you, I'm bloody rich, with an EU Pensiooooon..." to the tune. Then he'd storm off the stage, leave his radio mic on and we'd hear the man of the people verbally abusing the poor stage hands. I may have had a weird dream last night

Eurovision Farage reminds me of The Brown Bottle from Viz Confused

You can't do covers at Eurovision. I think you need to go to a Eurovision party, optional, it will blow your mind.

I'm gonna host an EU Karaoke Brexit Party / Wake. Both sides invited...

well that sounds sinister.

Or are you a massive R Kelly fan and it's an oblique reference to his bonkers rapopera "trapped in the closet"?

squishysquirmy · 27/04/2017 22:20

Well, thanks a fucking bunch.
Tonight I will probably dream that Farage has Farron trapped in a closet "it rubss the lotion on the skin, Timmy, or else it gets the hose..."

You go to some dark places pretty quickly Squishy.
I was thinking of a nice party with lots of different kinds of food from all over Europe. Then people expressing their joy or sorrow through the medium of song and music, the universal language that brings us all together....

"It's been 7 hours and fifteen days.... since EU took your love away"
