And I'm a remainer

GhostofFrankGrimes · 22/03/2017 08:02

Winter is coming badders

Imjustapoorboy · 22/03/2017 08:03

Lack of compassion regarding others views. Revelling in others discomfort and concerns. How lovely of you. Extreme lack of empathy. Extremists

Imjustapoorboy · 22/03/2017 08:04

And fundlementalist extremists can not be argued with. Most people are moderates. The truth is you don't care about others only those with the views you hold. You are few. Moderates are many

Kaija · 22/03/2017 08:05

Interesting analysis, semi. Still it's one better than sticking firmly with denial like the Brexiteers.

See you at the march on Saturday,.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 22/03/2017 08:06

Actually semi I've got the popcorn out awaiting project clusterfuck to fully commence and what excuses leavers come up with.

Bearbehind · 22/03/2017 08:06

You could ignore this thread, comment politely, dispute points like @Bearbehind does

CountMagnus · 22/03/2017 08:07

Well this thread has taken a strange turn - although I'm sure Bear will be delighted that Infinite has declared her a new BFF.

SemiPermanent · 22/03/2017 08:08

Exposure therapies are still considered to be the most effective treatments wrt fear-related conditions btw.

Perhaps this will prove to be the case post Weds when avoidant techniques are no longer sustainable.

SemiPermanent · 22/03/2017 08:12

🐻, I was waiting til you came back to post a picture I found for you...

It's a EuroBear!!

Bugger, that's given away my outfit for the march on Saturday semi Grin

Badders123 · 22/03/2017 08:15

I shall plan.
I'm hoping to start a food bank in my village - hope to get it going by summer.
I was volunteering yesterday and today in a school
I'm learning to crochet to make wooly hugs for those in need
Brexit is going to happen.
I've accepted that.
But children going hungry?
Fuck no.

"Nevertheless, she persisted"
✊🏻

SemiPermanent · 22/03/2017 08:15

😂
I love it!
Are you going for just body paint 😮

Bearbehind · 22/03/2017 08:16

Probably safer not to semi there'd be some very odd shaped flags!

SemiPermanent · 22/03/2017 08:19

Badders, I've had disagreements with you before and I don't think the Armageddon you envisage will come to pass.

However, Flowers and genuine acknowledgement of the stuff you do/have done/are doing in your community.

Also hope your mum's doing ok xx

(This is not meant snarkily at all, honestly).

No fear here. Just pity.

Bearbehind · 22/03/2017 08:37

No comments about my bankers question? Funny that ......

GhostofFrankGrimes · 22/03/2017 08:40

No comments about the links to articles re job losses either. All is good. Jam tomorrow.

Niamer · 22/03/2017 08:45

For those of you celebrating losing the "shackles" and "dictatorship" that is the EU, it's interesting to note that EU- related costs will be higher per individual as Brexiters than members. £1000 per year per family - that's your retirements, your holidays, your children's educations being chipped into.

How were we to know? Don't recall Boris et al mentioning that. The great British rip off...

GhostofFrankGrimes · 22/03/2017 08:51

Leavers here are wealthy, price worth paying etc. The poor will get thrown under the bus. Remember the poor? Yeah Brexit was gonna help them...

Badders123 · 22/03/2017 08:52

Hello semi
Mum is doing ok thank you - cardiology appt next week
I've decided my last post sounded a bit wanky and boasty - not meant that way
Just pointing out to my remain friends that their is stuff we can do to not feel so impotent

Niamer · 22/03/2017 08:53

Brexiters makes us all poor - and I don't mean economically.

Badders123 · 22/03/2017 08:53

Niamer - no remainer has said the EU is perfect. Not one. We just think it's better than the brexiters vision for this country - whatever that is . Hopefully they will tell us soon
