You know best Bear. sigh.

Anyway, enough if this drivel. More important to be with the people who I love and who love me, and give thanks that we are all still together, and pray for those families whose lifes have been torn apart by todays senseless and cowardly act.

boredofbrexit · 22/03/2017 21:14

Aplogies for spelling and grammar I'm on the gin.

Imjustapoorboy · 22/03/2017 21:15

Interesting so the reason I reported is not relevant and the posts continue with discussion of surfer

How odd it is that posters can be made martyrs when all that is happened is that they have not posted within rules. It really is that simple

At times like today we need clear and calm heads not attacks

Bearbehind · 22/03/2017 21:15

westwiltshire I'd love to hear your justification for thinking it was ok to vote on a subject you had no idea about.

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 22/03/2017 21:16

I agree bored

Olympiathequeen · 22/03/2017 21:18

It was clumsy in parts, but in others faultlessly fluent. Not quite sure how she achieved that!

Yes, I think I've tried to blank out the horror of today by avoiding it. Can't cope with all this hatred and how messed up everything in the Middle East is and the fallout on the innocents.

boredofbrexit · 22/03/2017 21:20

poor boy, no-one can be bothered to read back to see why exactly you were offended, especially on a day like today. If you were you were.

Imjustapoorboy · 22/03/2017 21:20

I don't think you can assume that just because a poster calls themselves Svetlana that they do not have English as their first language

And if you think about it in full and they are not a UK citizen (or born in the UK) why the virulent anti-EU and anti immigration rhetoric. A quandary non?

Kaija · 22/03/2017 21:22

There is nothing whatsoever wrong with Svetlana's command of English.

Westwiltshire · 22/03/2017 21:22

Bear behind it's the democratic law in UK that provided you are over 18 you allowed to vote.
if there is another Scottish referendum do you think only those clued up on what independence for Scotland means should be allowed to vote.

Imjustapoorboy · 22/03/2017 21:23

Bored Thank you for your post.

It is great to know on a day like today posters have time to lament Claig and Sufers 'bullying'

It's that empathy thing again

Olympiathequeen · 22/03/2017 21:25

I'mapoorboy. She says she is not a U.K. citizen somewhere at the beginning. Fool that I am I tend to believe people. I'm too tired to start second guessing and reading a sub text. I would also kill for a G&T but I'm on a diet and it has calories

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 22/03/2017 21:25

imjust

She said she was Russian (i think)

Bearbehind · 22/03/2017 21:26

poorboy, svetlana has said English is not her/ his first language and they are Russian.

I completely agree it is hypocritical that a non Eu citizen should be so anti any other non EU citizen being able to enter the EU/UK but that is where we are.

Bearbehind · 22/03/2017 21:29

WW why does that abbreviation ring bells I don't care how old anyone is, it is their civic duty to understand the subject of their vote and what its implications are

boredofbrexit · 22/03/2017 21:29

Maybe you just dont get 'standing in solidarity' poor boy . Not a surprise.

Imjustapoorboy · 22/03/2017 21:31

OK so a Russian working in a UK hospital who worries about a nurse crossing Westminster bridge maybe a colleague BUT who wants out of the EU (even tho they can't vote) and is anti immigration into the UK (even tho they are an immigrant)

Although none of this is impossible as a circumstance and view. But it's not really a logical stance to take is it.

Quandry

boredofbrexit · 22/03/2017 21:32

zzzzzzzzzzz

Imjustapoorboy · 22/03/2017 21:36

Night Night Bored you contribution to considered and informed discussion will be sorely missed

Bearbehind · 22/03/2017 21:44

No it's not poorboy

Which is why most people think said poster is either a shill or just of the hairy handed variety.

SemiPermanent · 22/03/2017 21:48

Aaah, so has Bored been nominated now to take the flak?

Must keep up with who the pack has sighted up.

Semi very happy to talk about the pros and cons of Brexit

If Bored's 'zzzzzzzzzz' is a good starting point for you let's begin

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 22/03/2017 21:51

Imjustapoorboy · 22/03/2017 21:52
