Well here we are, almost 9 months on from the referendum & A50 is finally set to be triggered this month.
We've had petitions, marches, tantrums & tears, from the hardcore remainers desperately trying to stop the will of the people, but they can't.

So let's get the champagne out of the cellar ready & waiting - this is the last Brexit Arms thread so let's celebrate!

Tell me please - why some of you so worried about EU people in UK? This is no problem. EU people living and working here will stay of course, but those who have no job but take benefit should go. Definitely they should be told to go, this is only fair.

Tebbitt said recently in the Lords that too many are "thinking of nothing but the rights of foreigners". House of Lords paid big daily money to discuss and discuss ......... rights of foreigners (!) If you have job you stay and pay tax; no job - out.

Who has problem with this?

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:38

This is a totally genuine question mrexit how on earth can you say that with a meterphorical straight face, when you've voted to do exactly the same thing to the UK?

Svetlana33 · 14/03/2017 10:39

I answer my own question. Some on this thread are EU and of course make propaganda on forum pretending to be british born people.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:39

EU people living and working here will stay of course

says who?

Kaija · 14/03/2017 10:40

Surfer, you seem very angry for someone who believes they've won something. I know it's not nice to have people raining on your parade, but at some point you are just going to have to wake up and face the fact that for most people things are going to get very rough from here on, and that the sunny uplands are only for the very rich. And no, we are not going to stop talking about it or fighting the lurch to the right.

But on a lighter note, what happened to Svetlana? I liked her and her comedy posts from the Surrey Hills. She was like the Melania Trump of mumsnet.

surferjet · 14/03/2017 10:41

NS is on a personal crusade. Good luck to her. but Scotland is nothing without the UK or the EU, so not sure why she's taking such a massive risk?
But you all love her now so just goes to show how full of shit some remainers are.
Scotland leaving the U.K. Is a much bigger risk than the UK leaving the EU - but you carrry on admiring her, because as long as she's fucking it up for Brexit you're happy.
That's why I can't take any of you seriously.

Spooky cross post there kaija!

Kaija · 14/03/2017 10:42

Oh sorry, Svetlana's back

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:42

Scotland leaving the U.K. Is a much bigger risk than the UK leaving the EU

Why?

Svetlana33 · 14/03/2017 10:44

Kaija, I am here. You are a rude girl because you think you know something. You are non-EU foreigner like me but there is difference. I love this country, my children born here and I want the best for england. But you see this country as a means of having better living standard but your loyalty is to your homeland. In fact I think you probably despise the hand of the country that allows you to denigrate it.

Kaija · 14/03/2017 10:45

If it helps, Surfer, I am not at all pro-Scottish independence. Although if it means they can rejoin the single market I can see that it makes more sense than it would have done before now. I wouldn't say I love Nicola Sturgeon either, but regrettably I think she is right to be taking this course of action.

Kaija · 14/03/2017 10:46

Svetlana I think I love you.

Svetlana33 · 14/03/2017 10:46

Bearbehind - No one has said EU people in work have to leave. It is an anxiety stirred up on purpose. I support EU people NOT working to go - what do you need them for?

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:47

kaija is right surfer you are very angry things aren't going your way right now.

Who has implied NS is their hero?

Me thinks you're making that up to cover up the fact you're more than a little peeved you're starting to realise you're being played for a fool and Brexit isn't going to be the sunlit upland you think it is- not triggering A50 when you thought is just the beginning. And here was you thinking you could lie back and relax after today!

Kaija · 14/03/2017 10:47

What country do you think I am from by the way? Can you tell by my accent?

surferjet · 14/03/2017 10:48

Svetlana33. You make some very good points. But no remainer will answer you because they have no answers. All they do is take the piss.
Give up asking them anything - we're leaving the EU & that's all that matters. Smile

What was Svetlana's good point? Was it the one about me being forrin?

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:48

svetlana I'm sure things are different in your Surrey millionaires bubble but in the real world EU citizens haven't been 'promised' anything.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:50

surfer stop talking nonsense - I've answered svetlana

Just because you guys can't answer questions don't try turning that round on me and other Remainers- it makes you look very foolish.

surferjet · 14/03/2017 10:51

Kaija. I'm not really taking any notice of you sorry, her other points.

boredofbrexit · 14/03/2017 10:52

Svetlana. As objects of faux pity for virtue signalling purposes.

Kaija · 14/03/2017 10:52

What other points?

CountMagnus · 14/03/2017 10:54

I want the best for england

And what about, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland? At least two of those countries voted to stay within the EU.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 14/03/2017 10:54

NS is on a personal crusade. Good luck to her. but Scotland is nothing without the UK or the EU, so not sure why she's taking such a massive risk?

No, she is representing the desire of the scottish nationalist party. Clues in the name. Of course there is no risk to UK leaving the biggest ecconomic trading block in the world. Its not like the £ hit a 30 year low or anything. Hmm
