Well here we are, almost 9 months on from the referendum & A50 is finally set to be triggered this month.
We've had petitions, marches, tantrums & tears, from the hardcore remainers desperately trying to stop the will of the people, but they can't.

So let's get the champagne out of the cellar ready & waiting - this is the last Brexit Arms thread so let's celebrate!

I note you ignore my question about where we would be in a decade if the vote had been to remain?

Many apologies scary, I responded to a different point in your post.

My answer to the above question is obviously 'I don't know'. No one does.

I've repeatedly said that Remainers didn't/ don't believe things did not need to change, only that doing it with a 2 year countdown and nothing even remotely resembling a plan is utter madness.

As I've answered your questions, might you do me the courtesy of answering the one I've repeatedly posed about how you see the immediate consequences of Brexit being overcome without massively impacting people and businesses in the UK i.e.

-vNI

  • trade barriers
  • NTBs
  • lack of investment due to uncertainty
  • inflation due to Brexit
  • uncertainty for families and jobs
  • sheer cost of Brexit
WrongTrouser · 14/03/2017 08:08

Have we still got the chair? Grin

boredofbrexit · 14/03/2017 08:23

Wrong Trouser...yes but its been gilded and ermined in anticipation of our exalted Nigel popping in for a pint.

TheFullMrExit · 14/03/2017 08:26

I missed part about last thread Sad I don't blame you though surfer you have done well under heavy fire. scary agree with all your posts. Grin infinite. It feel a sudden warmth to our little brexit crew, bravely rowing towards the end of the world on a supposedly flat world /ocean. Even our resident ..... WE are all doomed^ dooooooomed Ray of Light.

WrongTrouser · 14/03/2017 08:29

bored ooh lovely

TheFullMrExit · 14/03/2017 08:34

I don't see sturgeon as anything other than a Scottish Farage. Debt service how she can oppose and talk to about brexit without shame. On
Farage must get knighted, whether you agree with him or not. But he didn't bring about brexit the eu did. People are not stupid, we can see what's happening over there, what's there to be a part of? IF it was truly amazing it would speak for itself.

InfiniteSheldon · 14/03/2017 09:12

I will protect Nigel from the chair I am armed with the Broom of Common Sense and the Pen that exposes Blatant Self Aggrandizement the chair holds no fear for me well it does a bit as relentless waterboarding aka known as repeatedly asking questions you've already answered is pretty painful

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 09:39

It's funny how it's ok for scary to point out I hadn't answered her question but when I do the same its a different story.

It continues to astound me that Leavers on here genuinely seem to have convinced themselves they've answered the questions I've posed about consequences.

Deep down you must realise you really haven't even attempted to make sensible comment on them. Hmm

boredofbrexit · 14/03/2017 09:47

Bear, lets look at your questions once we see how Turkey/EU situation pans out, yeah?

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 09:50

No.

Turkey / Eu has been bubbling away God tears and is going nowhere fast.

The consequences I've repeatedly asked about are imminent/ already happening. They need to be answered by someone, sadly noone seems to have a clue though.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 09:51

^^ God tears
For Years

TheFullMrExit · 14/03/2017 09:56

Grin Sheldon. Not just turkey /eu which is rapidly deteriorating but all the other endless on going issues. Can't wait to for it now to be our problem anymore

GhostofFrankGrimes · 14/03/2017 09:57

nice diversion tactic there.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 14/03/2017 10:00

yeah, good luck with that. Hmm

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:03

nice diversion tactic there.

It was wasn't it- it also admitted the questions I posed have never actually been responded to.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:10

Not just turkey /eu which is rapidly deteriorating but all the other endless on going issues. Can't wait to for it now to be our problem anymore

FFS this is totally pointless.

It's all very well looking at all the negative things about the EU and being glad we're leaving but at some point you are actually going to have to acknowledge the shitstorm we've thrown ourselves into by doing so.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 14/03/2017 10:11

I don't think any questions have ever been answered despite complaints to the contrary.

surferjet · 14/03/2017 10:15

Remainers. Get over it fgs. You lost.
Either get behind your country ( do most of you actually live in the UK? ) or move to Scotland. You are like a stuck record.
It's ironic that a female Scottish version of Nigel Farage ( but without the charm ) has now become your hero. If only you knew how stupid you all look.

OP posts:
GhostofFrankGrimes · 14/03/2017 10:19

Grin desperate times.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:20

Usual impressive standard of discussion there surfer

GhostofFrankGrimes · 14/03/2017 10:23

and they get upset when their reasoning and knowledge is questioned.

CountMagnus · 14/03/2017 10:25

Remainers. Get over it fgs. You lost.

Back to default mode then.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 10:26

I think the truth is more like NS your enemy than our hero. Forced your champagne to be put on ice for a while hasn't she?

As for how stupid Remainers look- that's a cracker too.

We're not the ones being lied to every step of the way (we already know it's all bollocks). TM can't even give you a date when A50 will be invoked- today was supposed to be your E-Day. that just shows exactly how much this whole situation is being carried out on a wing and a prayer.

GhostofFrankGrimes · 14/03/2017 10:29

and don't forget they've been waiting 9 months for the big red bus to show up.

TheFullMrExit · 14/03/2017 10:35

Scott versions of nigel Farage but in power. Not only in power but dragging Scotland down a narrow Alley on one issue at the detriment of all else. And yes without humour and without charm.
