Well here we are, almost 9 months on from the referendum & A50 is finally set to be triggered this month.
We've had petitions, marches, tantrums & tears, from the hardcore remainers desperately trying to stop the will of the people, but they can't.

So let's get the champagne out of the cellar ready & waiting - this is the last Brexit Arms thread so let's celebrate!

I still would like to know why some of you think GB should support longterm anyone who comes to this country but has little intention of seeking work? What is the advantage of such a person, and to whom?

Kaija, you seem to be full of it ..... perhaps you have an answer.

Kaija · 14/03/2017 15:11

So why did you make the distinction between "European ethnics" and others?

Kaija · 14/03/2017 15:13

"Kaija, you seem to be full of it ..... perhaps you have an answer."

I'm still waiting for your evidence that a) these people exist and b) they - and only they - will be asked to leave post-Brexit

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 15:13

svetlana please could you reference the posts where anyone has said people who have no intention of working should be support in the UK

I will assume you are being a goady fucker if you are unable to

CountMagnus · 14/03/2017 15:15

There are quite a few illegals in England but they are WORKING albeit under the radar as you say. they do not attend NHS A&E GP, dentist or anything like that. they rent a room and pay for it. They do not seek public money. do you understand the difference between freeloading and worth ethic?

So it's OK to be here and working illegally as long as you don't use state services, but if you're here legally and use state services that's not OK?

What a strange attitude. I don't think Bear is the doorak here.

Svetlana33 · 14/03/2017 15:22

Bear - re-read your and your friend's posts. you pretend that my posts are not understandable because my English is not perfect (that is very unfriendly and your pretence comes from racism - you know that of course). Having EU nationality does not make you a european, except on paper. I am British citizen on paper, but I am Russian and Russia is in EUROPE. I am European by birth.

Svetlana33 · 14/03/2017 15:27

So it's OK to be here and working illegally as long as you don't use state services, but if you're here legally and use state services that's not OK?

If you are here legally, hardly ever worked, therefore not contributing but taking state money and using state services that is NOT OK. I have stated this at least 3 times now,

As regards the illegals who are here working hard, paying their way and not approaching the state for anything - I have no strong view on this. of course they should not be here, but they are not freeloaders.

Kaija · 14/03/2017 15:29

Svetlana it's a bit much to talk about non-European ethnics as freeloaders and then complain of racism.

missmoon · 14/03/2017 15:30

If you are here legally, hardly ever worked, therefore not contributing but taking state money and using state services that is NOT OK.

What if you're a stay at home mum? Or a pensioner?

CountMagnus · 14/03/2017 15:31

It's not your English that is a problem, it's the fact that your posts are completely contradictory.

Kaija · 14/03/2017 15:32

Not to mention that the difficulty with understanding your posts is entirely down to your self-contradiction and nothing to do with your language.

I did have to look up "doorak" though.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 15:34

svetlana I understand what you are saying perfectly well so don't try and pull the 'English is not my first language card'. The problem is what you are saying is complete and utter bollocks

I'll ask you again- where has anyone said people should be allowed to enter the Uk if they have no intention of working?

The thought that those people are profilic might help you justify your stance but it does not make it valid unless you can back it up with statistics

Your instance that illegal immigrants are fine as long as they make no demands on the system disgusts me

Take heed from the fact not even Leavers on here are supporting you here

Svetlana33 · 14/03/2017 15:34

it's a bit much to talk about non-European ethnics as freeloaders and then complain of racism

It's a bit much denying that freeloaders from anywhere who will not find job are not freeloading off the state, here or in any EU country. Anyone who does not self-support without good reason, is freeloading. that is the meaning. Or a mooch if you prefer.

Kaija · 14/03/2017 15:34

And while we're on the subject, why did you feel it relevant to suggest that I was a non-EU national? And where do you think I am from?

Kaija · 14/03/2017 15:36

"It's a bit much denying that freeloaders from anywhere who will not find job are not freeloading off the state"

What moocher has done this thing? Show me their posts.

Svetlana33 · 14/03/2017 15:41

Your instance that illegal immigrants are fine as long as they make no demands on the system disgusts me

I said that I do not have a strong view on this. their time in GB is limited to a handful of years, they will return home, and although no money is being received by Exchequer from them, none is being paid out to them either in terms of housing subsidy, child benefit, Ctax. it is your prerogative to get upset about this matter if you wish.

As you are not a Leaver, you would not know, nor do you know who I know on this thread.

Kaija · 14/03/2017 15:44

"As you are not a Leaver, you would not know, nor do you know who I know on this thread."

Gnomic.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 15:47

As you are not a Leaver, you would not know, nor do you know who I know on this thread

PMSL- you sound like the mafia!

Who do you 'know' on this thread I should be afraid of?

Any update on where anyone has said freeloaders are welcome to pour in?

Kaija · 14/03/2017 15:54

Must be some off-board alt-right chit chat bleeding through into the daylight I guess...

Alfieisnoisy · 14/03/2017 16:02

BearBehind I am not sure if you were referencing my example when you responded to Svetlana about my friend.

She HAS contributed because she worked for several years here before having children....she now raises her children and her husband pays the bills.

She also contributes with voluntary work...supporting British parents and is in the process with me and others of setting up a charity.

You can contribute to society by more than just taxes.

I value her, other people locally value her and she is wanted as a valuable member of the community. What's being done to her and others in the name of Brexit is beyond disgusting and makes me ashamed to be British. Just a word from the Government to reassure people like my friend would mean a lot. Unfortunately I don't have any faith that there will be support for my friend...she's "forrin innit". God forbid that she should be seen as a human being.

Bearbehind · 14/03/2017 16:09

alfie I was referencing your friend in a round about way.

svetlana is clearly a goady troll with nothing better to occupy her time

Unfortunately your friend sounds like the very person for whom this process is a disaster- I hope it work out for her

I'm disgusted by those who think voting to Leave meant they could pick the 'good uns' to stay without realising it meant genuine people faced massive uncertainty

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 14/03/2017 16:20

Either get behind your country ( do most of you actually live in the UK) or move to Scotland.

I dont want scottish independence and i am very 'meh' about NS if that helps

Is scotland my only option...its a bit cold and i live in Great Britain...for however long that lasts

kaiji

What does dookah mean then?

Kaija · 14/03/2017 17:15

Rufus, it means idiot apparently
