I'm not saying the company's actual name, obviously

Why not?

Completely agree with hubris.

Had to do an emergency supermarket run this morning due to a lack of tea. Now I am back all is right with my World again. If only everyone else was so easily placated. Brew

winterisnigh · 26/11/2016 12:14

I am the same Surfer, however I am glad we have this pub to come too and let Remainers know, Leavers are still here, we do still stand by our reasons and we have no Regrets.

Puts Edith on the Juke Box. Smile ( on repeat full blast)

BoredofBrexit · 26/11/2016 17:12

Evening Oh wise ones!

Inkanta · 26/11/2016 17:20

'Also astonishing the correlation between poor + thick/un educated to so many remain voters and they mention care in the same sentence.'

I know, I was a bit taken a back - I thought the remain voters were supposed to be like the Care Bears - and care a lot.

winterisnigh · 26/11/2016 17:31

Grin inkanta

BoredofBrexit · 26/11/2016 17:34

I wonder what the correlation between tea drinkers and Leavers/coffee drinkers and Remainers is?

BoredofBrexit · 26/11/2016 17:35

Just that the coffee shops here are full of smug, loud parenting earnest typesWink

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 26/11/2016 18:02

Maybe i can help

I think the amount of thick leavers is about the same as thick remainers

I think the amount of intelligent leavers is about the same as intelligent remainers

Not only do i not care...i actually dont give a shit

I drink coffee but i am the furthest thing from earnest as humanly possible

I wish it was easier to find my people Sad

Grin

I am drinking lager, eating a chinese takeaway while putting the tree up

We may have overdone it on the lights Hmm

I blame brexit

BoredofBrexit · 26/11/2016 18:14

Rufus....but you share with us morbid dislike of Tony Blair.....that'll do.

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 26/11/2016 18:33

Oh god yes bored

I looooaaaathe him

surferjet · 26/11/2016 18:37

So.....what do we have in common?

I like designer stuff ( Gucci mainly )
I like Bowie, The Smiths, Chase & Status, Sigma, stuff like that.
My fav takeaway is pizza or Indian.
I like thunderstorms & sunsets & walking in the rain.

OP posts:
BoredofBrexit · 26/11/2016 18:55

I'm seriously rubbish at fashion and style.
Indian takeaway for me.
Like deserted highland coast walking and remote cottages and open fires. But also love London, love it.
I'm more of a singles than album person and anyone analysing my Spotify lists would be like thisConfused as they span about 50 years which is longer than I've lived.

surferjet · 26/11/2016 19:08

Ds (16 ) is into nothing but 60's early 70's music. The Beatles, Hendrix, Bowie. Even I'm too young to have been into the Beatles Grin but I'm glad he likes that era.

BoredofBrexit · 26/11/2016 19:53

You are lucky. We get Drake and Nicky Minaj. DH in car 'DS, play that NM tune I like' 'DS...are you sure dad? Then proceeds with Truffle ButterGrin

winterisnigh · 26/11/2016 19:56

Pauses with alarm. Surfer I adore Bowie he was my first crush, my first huge music crush but The Smiths....I can't do - too depressing. I have however just enjoyed an Indian Take Away. Smile
I am however a tea drinker, I don't mind coffee but Tea is my thing. Hmm

winterisnigh · 26/11/2016 19:57

Surfer you have done well with your son. The day my then 8 year old said
" mummy I don't like Bowie, I love him" I punched the air and felt my parental duties were done Grin

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 26/11/2016 19:59

I like indian takeaways and pizza

Love thunderstorms

Cant afford Gucci

Cant stand bloody Drake!!!!!

Been to a few Springsteen concerts, but like bored i prefer singles to albums

My christmas tree looks like santa threw up on it...subtle aint my style when it comes to christmas.

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer · 26/11/2016 20:00

BoredofBrexit · 26/11/2016 20:01

GrinRufus

surferjet · 26/11/2016 20:01

He adores Bowie. But so do I ( & so does dh ) but because I grew up in the 70's / 80's I'm afraid a lot of 80's stuff is in my dna, no matter how hard I try to forget it Grin

winterisnigh · 26/11/2016 20:02

surferjet · 26/11/2016 20:02

Grin I only got Bowie from sibling but specifically DB who is a decade older, best and only good thing he ever did for me Smile lots of albums left behind when he left home. First single/song ever put on - on my own, was Quicksand, on slow speed ( I didn't realise) and listened to it over and over......then realised one day there were different speeds on the record player Grin
