I have to step back from the W thread, its getting a little highbrow with talk of special bus and werthers, its too intellectual. Can someone explain it?

winterisnigh · 11/11/2016 19:53

Totally surreal Mango.

winterisnigh · 11/11/2016 19:53

Great pictures on the front page today - a picture tells a thousand words, amazing Smile

time4chocolate · 11/11/2016 19:54

Mango, I know and I have been re-reading her posts from way back - surreal is definitely the word.

MangoMoon · 11/11/2016 20:09

Brilliant!
Worth a watch.

I just want to make it clear before I bow out for the night that I am not Winchester, Bear is not grasping it and is following me round saying I am.

So good night all.

winterisnigh · 11/11/2016 20:37

x post Bear Grin

the only person provoking trouble is you. I don't think its etticute to follow a poster around threads, hound them - accuse them of being someone else....repeatedly.

winterisnigh · 11/11/2016 20:38

Btw bear your behavior right now is really showing your true colours isn't it.

MangoMoon · 11/11/2016 20:47

Bear - give it up.

You followed Winchester round haranguing her & goading her - now you're doing the same to someone else.
If you think they're the same poster, then report (even though she's repeatedly told you she's not the same poster).

Shit skills.

MangoMoon · 11/11/2016 20:50

And actually, even if they are the same poster - so fucking what??!!
She's not been sock puppeting & posting concurrently under those names.

You're allowed to name change on mn as often as you please.

Random news but my Edinburgh Hogmanay tickets arrived in the post todayGrin

Aargh I need to stop lurking on that W thread it's doing my head in. They seem to have a death wish, if they don't get their way they want everything to fuck up. Even when there is something that should from their POV be a positive - like trump saying he'll not entirely abandon obamacare - they are slagging him off.

MangoMoon · 11/11/2016 21:29

It's a very narrow echo chamber for sure.

BoredofBrexit · 11/11/2016 21:39

What historic times we are living in. I keep saying this to my kids and they give me this face Confused and go back to their screens.

Grin My 11 yr old is interested for about 2 minutes, my 14 yr old is actually really interested in it all.

I have to keep saying to him though "remember, this is just my interpretation of things, coloured by my views on it all", and arguing things from the 'other side' as well, to try and make sure I'm not brainwashing him.

MangoMoon · 11/11/2016 21:45

Good article I've just lifted from one of the threads on the politics sub-forum:

http://www.cracked.com/blog/6-reasons-trumps-rise-that-no-one-talks-about/

A good explanation of the Trump effect - also parallels with the Brexit vote too.

time4chocolate · 11/11/2016 21:48

Just seen Mumsnet has put a comment on Westministenders in support of Winterisnigh - posters (one in particular) should feel very ashamed of their behaviour.

BoredofBrexit · 11/11/2016 21:56

That's been a fair few of hours since the 'outing' - do you think you know who has been trawling posting histories etc since then, trying to find 'facts' 'evidence' etc in WW?Grin

Mango. I had a bit of a rant at my 17yo after Brexit when he made some crass remarks entitled. I was driving him to a uni open day so it was unfortunate timing for him as he was captive for an hour and a half and it should have been two hours but I was in such a rage I drove like a bat out of hell Grin

OP posts:
time4chocolate · 11/11/2016 22:04

Bored - I wouldn't be at all surprised Grin, it's almost bordering on obsessive and quite bizarre really.

BoredofBrexit · 11/11/2016 22:05

Bear. If Europe lurches to the right, closes its borders with non eu countries, drops an economic bollock by its hostility to a Trump government and the market changes resulting from same - would you still be prepared to throw your lot in with them?
