Now that it seems inevitable that there will be a second Scottish Independence Ref (re the news today) do you think Brexit will have an impact upon the result making it more likely to succeed? Personally, i hope so.

Unfortunately I don't think even 58 out of the 59 Scottish MPs voting against invoking A50 (possible only 56 as I'm not sure what the LibDem MP and Labour MP would vote), there not enough Conservative MPs who would go against the "will of their constituents" - even if rather large assumption! that both Labour and the LibDems decide to unite to oppose.

I suspect that Labour would abdicate responsibility again and decide to abstain rather than actively vote against it.

True, so she'll likely just agitate to delay. Which does no-one any good.
